Formulating vendor schedules & generation of purchase orders, setting up parameters to review the vendor fill rates through vendor scorecards. Ensuring Vendor co-ordination, follow-ups and receipt of stock before delivery dates.
Ensuring the warehouse fill rates such as Vendor Fill Rate, warehouse to Store Fill Rate, warehouse Efficiency fill rates are kept at optimum levels by ensuring stock availability, monitoring stock levels and getting corrective actions in case of exceptions.
Forecasting for new stores based on historic data, seasonality and from the Category team. coordinating all activities and processes relating to new store opening with regard to supply chain. Planning & procuring materials & requirements for ensuring timely & smooth running of Retail Outlet units. Supervising supply chain for distributing goods in warehouse to the Retail Outlets for achievement of the targets within the specified parameters.
Maintaining the stock of material without any variance by conducting stock verification and documentation. Checking and adhering to FIFO stacking. Maintaining minimum stock level as per sales plan in all Warehouses and managing distribution at sales points as per sales order with in the specified time.
Monitoring MIS (Quality, Cost & Delivery) viz. Administration Expenses, Direct / Indirect Labor Cost, Staff Salary, Power & Fuel Cost, Quality Cost and Variance of Process Conversion Cost. Preparing reports connected with estimation, evaluation, FSN \[Fast, Slow and Non Moving\] & Excess stock reports and coordinating with category for liquidation plans for stock at WAREHOUSE.
Managing of Distribution Centre operations which involves inbound, inventory, outbound and transportation activities. Monitoring order picking and dispatching with proper documentation of all orders, loading and dispatch. 100% dock audit of stock before dispatching.
Formulating & executing production and manpower schedules / plans for smooth execution of distribution at the shop floor within time & cost parameters. Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures within the warehouse.
