In ADNIC, I am responsible for creating and implementing E-Commerce solutions and managing ADNIC’s corporate-wide initiatives as per the strategic plan, timelines and budget, as well as strategic sourcing and managing third party vendors/consultants and part of the Executive Management team. I have implemented and managed large transformation activities across the company. Being the first, oldest and largest Insurance Company in the UAE, the change management was challenging and this was successfully achieved with strong program management process.
In Al Rajhi, I was heading the Strategy, Program management (PMO) and overseeing the IT functions. Reporting directly to the CEO and part of the executive management committee, I was instrumental in setting up the Program Management function and instrumental in obtaining the Insurance License in record 5 months. Al Rajhi Insurance, belongs to the Largest Islamic bank in the world operates as Composite Insurance company and caters to all Line of Business (Life, Retirement, P&C and Health). In a short span of time, we finalized the entire Business and IT strategy for the company. I was also responsible for Third party relationship and vendor management. I completed the IT Business plan and instrumental in setting up IT Landscape in the Organization. In a short span of time, I was able to identify and implement a robust Life Insurance system and set up Contact Center operations for the company
In TCS, I was heading the Global Insurance Operations across various locations and managing more than 700 people. I was responsible for managing both Insurance solutions and Operations for all the insurance customers and processes. I was responsible for Market Strategy, Account Planning, People Development and Spearheading the Insurance operations to achieve overall customer satisfaction. Developed clear protocols to manage multiple locations and country operations
In iGATE, I was heading the Banking and Insurance practice (Center of Excellence) focusing on IT, Consulting, Client Management, Business Strategy, Creating Service Offerings, Pre sales, Thought leadership and delivery of insurance projects. My area of focus have been in building the practice from scratch and identifying new and innovative solutions in Insurance Domain.
Assessed the new business acquisition process for a leading US insurer. I reengineered the complete new business process and handled the development of web based new business system supporting data entry of applications, automatic generation of Requirements and auto underwriting of applications. By using “lean” operational practices in the new business process and underwriting, the client was able to reduce policy issuance time substantially. The new developed system proposes to replace the existing legacy system.
Reengineered Group Pension proposal system for a leading Insurance company in US.
Handled all functions of a Greenfield operation, which includes Operation and Branch Rollout. I was responsible for handling more than 15 branch offices

Worked and Implemented Policy Administration system for a leading US Insurance Company. The project involves customization and Data-mapping of the application to the client's requirements.
Worked in developing an Insurance portal (http://www.indiainsurance.com/) which is being aimed at being the No 1. Insurance Portal for India. It caters all the needs of an insurance company, Policyholders and Prospective Policyholders, Prospective Employees for Insurance Business, Agents and Students. Major modules are Needs Analysis and Insurance Awareness. Was heading the content team
