Duties/Responsibilities:
1. PREPARATION OF YEARLY FINANCIAL STATEMENTS: Preparation of yearly financial statements.

2. PREPARATION OF MONTHLY FINANCIAL STATEMENTS: Preparation of monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement and Income Statement) according to the requirement of the Top Management within 15th of next month.

3. MONTHLY PHYSICAL STOCK VERIFICATION: Verification of Stock of General Store, Yarn, Processing, Packing Store, Packing Materials Store on the 1st of each month with officers of Accounts Department, Store and related officers. Loop holes and discrepancies are reported to the Director (F&A) and the effects of such discrepancies are reflected in the monthly financial statement.

4. INVENTORY CONTROL: Monitoring of inventory control meant for material requisition, receive, issue, consumption, stock position review, classification of slow moving and obsolete items, periodic verification of physical stock.

5. LOCAL BANK TRANSACTIONS: Supervise follow up of export proceeds realization and local banking transactions. Establishing a standard Work-Flow-System so as to all the commercial & banking activities have been accounted for in the General Ledger through commercial invoices, bank advices & other related documents by passing proper Bank & Journal Voucher. Preparation & reporting of monthly bank liability position. Involve & monitoring with monthly bank reconciliation statement.

6. CHECK THE BILLS OF SUPPLIERS: Suppliers’ bill verification, Cheque payment verification before payment, preparation and verification of periodic reconciliation statement of suppliers.

7. FINANCE: Verification of all daily cash and bank transactions and loan transactions with bank and Financial Institutions, review of fund movements amongst banks. Monitor the Position of FDBP and IBP.

8. CHECK THE JOURNAL VOUCHERS: Check all kinds of Journal vouchers \[i.e. (a) Adjustment entries, (b) Booking of Export Sales through Journal Voucher after invoice wise shipment in respective Export L/C, (c) Checking the Loans against Export invoices from the Bank (if applicable). (d) Checking the vouchers of Realization of Export invoices of the respective Export L/Cs. And make sure that if Loan taken from Bank for that export L/C (if applicable) is adjusted along with short realization, Causes of Short Realization and Currency Fluctuation is identified. (e) Import Vouchers all through Back to Back L/C, Direct L/C and FTT, and L/C payment vouchers including retirement of L/Cs posted by the responsible officers. Suggest necessary corrections and advise posting of additional and reversing journal entries where necessary.

9. EXPORT & IMPORT RELATED DATA AND VOUCHERS: I maintain a record of Buyer wise, Master L/C wise, Invoice wise export data. Concerned person books the export sales in the accounting software after the shipment is made against the invoice of respective Master L/C. Transactions of Direct import and Back to Back Import L/C are also monitored by me. I keep a combined record of Export L/C, Import L/C, BTB LC and Loan against Export Invoice (FDBP) to reconcile bank position when the export proceeds are realized.

10. PAY ROLL MANAGEMENT: Checking and verification of monthly Salary and Wages and payment monitoring. Monitor the provision posted in the accounting software “Tally” at the end of the month and adjustment of the provision during the payment of salary and wages of more than 4000 Officers and staffs of about 11 departments.

11. PROCEDURAL COMPLIANCE: Ensure all procedural compliance all over the organization set to achieve the desired goal.

12. FIXED ASSET MANAGEMENT: Maintaining Fixed Asset Register. Introducing Fixed Asset Module of an ERP System. Listing All the Plant & Machinery identically with individual cost and accumulated depreciation charged thereon to make the entry in that ERP System.

8. INVENTORY VALUATION: Valuation of Monthly Closing Stock of Raw Materials and Finished goods.

9. COSTING: Preparation of per unit cost of Finished products and Raw Materials imported by LC.

10. FINANCIAL STATEMENTS: Preparation of Monthly Consolidate Financial Statements of Nasir Glass Industries Ltd. Also prepared the financial statements of the Group for last 3 years.
