Exposure as a Senior Internal Auditor
Examining and evaluating the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the company’s internal control systems and procedures and recommending corrective actions to improve operations, enhance internal controls and reduce costs where possible.
Defining audit scope & objectives, designing audit programs and executing test procedures in line with identified audit risks and objectives
Communicating audit observations to process owners, documenting management response and issuing final audit report.
Maintaining effective business relationships within the Company.
Observe Inventory Management System and identification of deficiencies in management and give appropriate recommendations.
I have been working in Finance & Accounts Department - Funds Section, managing daily operations of various consolidated funds including Provident, DC Gratuity, DB Gratuity of MPT and NON MPT Employees and DC Pension fund of whole group
Software Using : SAP, Microsoft Office
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and maintain a treasury management to ensure an adequate working capital and return on cash balances addressing the investment needs.
- As required, liaise with the internal and external stakeholders including department heads, sister concerns, bank, suppliers, consultants & advisors, internal auditors, external auditors.
- Support the decision-making process by providing meaningful ad hoc analysis and financial perspective reports on all commercial decisions.
- Liaison with banks and investment consultants and handling all banking matters;
- Assist in weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annually and annual reporting.
- Managing and finalizing the payments of provident and gratuity fund.
- Processing final settlements for all employees on employee exit.
- Ensure accurate deduction of provident funds from monthly payroll and deposit in PF and GF account
- Prepare reports and analysis of profitability and Assets position of fund.

Responsibilities:
Audit payment vouchers and report queries (if any) to respective authorities for their comments.
Conducted cash counts to verify that cash disclosed in GL, DCP and other reports, physically exists
Reporting on internal controls including systems evaluation, identification and reporting of internal control weaknesses and their rationalization.
Co-ordinate with the staff of the team for smooth implementation of the assignments.
Gather adequate, reliable, related and useful evidence to authenticate audit findings and to maintain the evidence as record.
Perform stock counts and cash counts.
Plan and execute operational and other assigned audit as directed by HOD.
Physically check all the inward, outward, returnable and non-returnable registers to ensure the accuracy and completeness.
Prepare audit report of respective audit assignment.
Conduct meetings in order to discuss the audit observations.
