As an Operation Manager, I am responsible for managing the daily operations of our restaurant, including the selection, development and performance management of employees. In addition, oversee the inventory and ordering of food and supplies, optimize profits and ensure that guests are satisfied with their dining experience with the best quality of service and standard provided to each guest. Checking and auditing of reports on daily / weekly basis through POS system. Directly reporting to the Managing Director of the company.
We sell world’s top brand coffee, Starbucks & world’s top brand ice cream, Baskin Robin there in Option’s Cafe. My responsibilities as an Assistant Manager was to check and ensure sequence of services from welcome to good bye to the guests. To collect the comment cards from guests and report their feed back to the higher management and guide other staff accordingly. To maintain the standard of Coffee Shop at a glance, regularly check cleanliness of the floor, personal hygiene of staff and quality of food and beverages. To handle the guest’s complains regarding food, beverages or services and satisfy them according to their need and requirements. To keep an eye on the staff dealing with guests and check their service attitude regularly and brief them accordingly. To organize staff meeting and briefing on daily weekly and monthly basis to discuss the individual and overall team performance. Assist and report the Senior Manager about daily sale and other matters (Responsibilities are vary respectively)
To ensure the cleanliness of Store and dusting of shelves and their items on daily basis. Displaying of products according to their categories. To keep the complete record of sale and shortage of products and make demand of new stock accordingly. Follow up purchase order till the delivery on time. To receive new stock, check the expiry and damages and count the products to ensure STN. To update PV and STN in system, Stock debit note, credit note and purchase order. Also responsible to handle the customer’s complains and suggestions and to overcome the other challenges and legal issues related to company.
Worked on POS Cash Software, making bills n receiving cash & credit cards. Report to MD about opening and closing of cash balance at the time of shift starts and ends. Taking care of receiving calls and order taking through online from the company’s website and to insure the delivery on time & keep updating the online menu accordingly. Also helping the Manager about staff duties and maintaining restaurant standard and quality assurance of Food & Beverages. Cleanliness of Restaurant and assurance of best standard & services for the customers.
