As a QA Engineer you will estimate, plan, and coordinate testing activities. You will also ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in our defect tracking system.
Responsibilities:
-Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
-Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
-Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
-Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
-Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
-Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Smoke testing, Sanity testing, Regression testing, Defect handling, Test cases handling, Behavior driven development test cases handling, Media Player online Testing, HTTP Calls Testing, Adaptive bit rate testing, Working on Akamai server for images and videos, Web pages and applications Testing on mobile device(Android, iOS), Web pages Testing on Desktop (iMac, Windows ), Advertisement testing, Managing google DFP account.
- Training sessions for the business.
- Handling JIRA User stories and understanding business requirements.
- Working on MVA server (XML management, Media Ingest management, etc.).
- Helping with releases.
- HTTP methods testing (PUT, POST, DELETE, UPDATE and GET).
- Working one on one with outsource client and keep in contact.
- Work as a part of a team under supervision of the team leader.
