Manages the shipping and distribution capabilities to include the selection of forwarders and carriers based on negotiated and pre-agreed rates.
Handles all International outbound and inbound shipments to and from EIPC to include but not be limited to the preparation and legalization, when required, of the appropriate documentation, packing lists, and labels.
Implements work objectives and schedules for specific Logistics operations and/or processes in order to ensure that an effective service is provided to the business.
Effectively follows up internally with various local logistics teams including commercial department, and externally with forwarders, clearing agents and insurance brokers on all issues related to shipment delays and insurance claims, in order to ensure smooth provision of services.
Identifies and proposes improvements of procedures and reports in own area to support the ongoing development of Logistics standards.
Coordinates with the Logistics Manager to provide to internal customers professional advice and guidance on Logistics issues in own area, in order to ensure that high standards in Logistics practices are achieved and maintained.
Reports major problems and areas of non-compliance to management in order to ensure that a high level of logistics service is maintained and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Identifies relevant legal requirements and government regulations and ensures current Logistics policies and procedures are in compliance
Compares Logistics cost between forwarders for his/her country market and highlights feedback to the Logistics Manager to select the best services and cost in alignment with the group’s corporate strategy.

Make sure the shipments are handled with the most professional manner by all the team
Disseminate information to the right person/departments
Improve quality of services/ solve problems with shipments
Receive and forward inquiries to the concerned section
Follow up the work flow of the Jobs
Checking booking details are in order with the needed info
Pricing and quoting
Interfere whenever needed with agents and clients
Checking Costing and file closing
Reporting to the upper management

Make sure files include all the documents needed for securing the Delivery Orders and Clearance formalities
Follow up with the Clearance team
Debit notes and transfers
The role doesn’t end here, contacting clients and agents to strengthen the relations. Improving the work flow and staying up to date with the freight environment. Helping and assisting colleagues whenever needed to maintain a strong team spirit with the team

Monitor /Assist in issuing all documentation related to HHG/PE shipment (Incoming/Outgoing)
Assist in issuing all documentation related to the LCL export containers
Updating the work sheet of each client as per standard procedures
Updating the monthly report of HHG Jobs + General Cargo + Special Projects + Export LCL containers
Costing of the files as per department’s standard method
Reporting to the Manager weekly with feedback on: Jobs secured, Client’s/Agents’ feedback, mishaps or problems, etc…

Job Title: Team Leader (Logistics and Administration) for all the drivers and messengers working with WHO (7 Employees) and in charge for all the WHO Vehicles (15 vehicles), some of my tasks:
1-Assign work to the drivers/messengers on a daily basis, from delivering/collecting mail to meeting/escorting WHO staff/official.
2-Request security clearances from our security focal point for all WHO official missions over Lebanon and allocate the cars and drivers for these missions.
3-Responsible for keeping official WHO cars in roadworthy conditions (arranges for repairs and services)
4-Submit monthly reports about the WHO cars operations, kilometre and fuel consumption.
5-Act as communicator between the Administration and the drivers/messengers when needed.
Other then that I had the opportunity to do a database project (excel base) for all the health centers, dispensaries and hospitals in Lebanon, from setting the questionnaires, to collecting and entering data.
GPA 3.5/4 Successfully completed computer related courses: C++, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, Database, Web design, System Design and Requirement Analyses, MIS, Programming 1, Visual basic, Internet Programming, Business data communication and E-Business. AUL (2006/2008)
