Draft accounting and finance policies and procedures.
* Preparing company yearly budget.
* Supervising and controlling all accounting posts on monthly basis.
* Monthly closing all accounts.
* Preparing all banks reconciliation.
* Preparing monthly P/L and Balance Sheet.
* Make sure all documents related to finance and accounting department are filled and organized in a
proper way.
Working knowledge of The IIA’s International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing
(Standards) and Code of Ethics as well as IFRS and GAAP.
* Supervising a team of 3 senior Auditors.
* Conducting Internal Audit plans that covers the following departments:
- Human Resources (Payroll, Recruitment policy, and HR policy (Insurance, employee’s
contracts), etc.
- Operations (WHS organization, petty cash).
- Stock and inventory control (Conducting spot check count on stock and investigate and report
any difference).
- Company cars and distribution vehicles
- Investigate any fraud or embezzlement in all group companies.
* Control, process and compliance Audit that includes the following
- Conducting all type of policies and procedures for all departments in the group such as vehicles
policy, HR policy, procurement policy, credit card policy, client’s credit policy and many others.
* Conduct different types of audit to check if they are abiding by the companies polices and
procedures.
* Financial Audit and it includes the following:
- Financial statement audit that includes the balance sheet and income statement. (Sales Analysis,
COGS, inventory, all type of expenses, accounts payable and receivable, etc.).
- Assisting external auditors on semiannually basis to make sure they are having all the accurate
information and data they need in order to achieve their assignments and tasks in an efficient and
effective way.
Working knowledge of The IIA’s International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal
Auditing (Standards) and Code of Ethics as well as IFRS and GAAP
* Reports directly to the CEO.
* Draft yearly internal audit plan and monthly task in addition to all methodology and scope related to
those tasks.
* Conduct internal audit activities, focusing primarily on financial and operational audits.
* Review the reliability and integrity of financial and compliance information.
* Monitor and control all reports generated by the Company’s reporting system to ensure operations
are performed adequately and carry out investigations when necessary.
* Audit the Trial Balance to make sure it matches the closing reports.
* Audit the transitory accounts, the petty cash, cash and the bank balances.
* Report Budget Variation of actual results of P&L, BS and Cash Flows vs. Budgets.
Reporting directly to the Audit Manager.
* Establish the audit program for the out coming year and submit it to the General Management for
discussion and approval.
* Working knowledge of The IIA’s International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal
Auditing (Standards) and Code of Ethics as well as IFRS and GAAP.
* Establish, documents, and develop audit policies and procedures for the company and its location.
* Updates the audit programs according to new developments and submits it to the general
management for approval.
* Perform period’s checks to ensure that the company’s fixed assets are all safeguarded and recorded
accurately.
* Performs periodic checks to ensure the company’s inventory of numbered forms. Drafts, and other
operational papers are recorded accurately, accounted for and held according to the company’s
policies and procedures.
* Performs spot checks in any area of the company’s operation to verify that performance,
calculations, accounting instructions, procedures, positions and limits are correct.
* Performs periodic checks to ascertain all expenses incurred and revenues earned by the company and
processed promptly in accordance with the terms and conditions of transactions and authorizations
and all other payments due by the company are settled in due time.
* Perform any other check, spot check, or investigation, which is deemed appropriate at any time to
ensure major accountabilities and duties are fulfilled.
Manage & service a corporate credit portfolio of KD 11 Million, negotiated terms and structured
deals.
* Examining, studying & Analyzing the audited financial statements and corollary data in order to
assess the lending risk.
* Conducts credit analyses including gathering, analyzing and interpreting all types of credit
information on existing and prospective customers and portfolios.
* Independently prepare credit reports & proposals, assessed various risks, financial statements
assessment & analysis, and present it to the credit committee.
* Makes recommendations/ decisions regarding the extension of credit investigates and analyzes
credit.
* Monitor customer accounts and loan portfolios in order to maximize credit quality and minimize risk
and potential loss.
* Cash flow Budget preparation for massive projects and contracts being financed.
* Negotiate & discuss corporate credit committee for credit approvals.
* Attract KD 4 M of new business, cross-sell remittances and followed-up defaulted customers.
* Establish a credit line including working capital (L/C’s, L/G’s, and Telex Transfers) facilities, in
addition to capital assets, commercial cash loans & project financing tailored to the industry sector.
* Lead a team of 3 junior credit officers.
Ensure most appropriate financial and accounting practices are adopted in each of the operational
entities across
