The research was under the title of “Removal of Lead (Pb) from Wastewater using Plant Material” in which research was done to identify the optimum conditions at which the plant material best removes lead from wastewater.
I played a role in backstage management of the 20th Global Day performances in American University of Sharjah. I was responsible for the entry of the performers and there required props, making sure no one other than performers enter and that each group enters on cue and in a formal fashion.
My job included organizing more than 10 major volunteering events, talking to vendors, conducting letters and creating a database that includes all volunteers and the events that took place under the community service department in AUS.
I have interned in Tadweer, center of waste management, as an Environmental Science student. I conducted a full research paper on different solutions on one of the problems they were facing. I have also conducted EIAs, lists of KPIs, and have added to their previous work plan.
I was a research assistant alongside two others, on a research that was proctored by a previous MIT researcher, on the analysis of sand particles and their effects on aviation engines using EDS and SEM instruments.
