Successfully completed coursework dealing with assessment and research methods, communicative language, theories of second language acquisition, counseling, curriculum and instruction in elementary schools, cultural paradigms of education, cognition, ELD and SDAIE methodology, and early childhood. Conducted extensive studies into achievement levels of bilingual elementary school children, and presented results and data at Loyola Marymount University’s Department of Education. Observed and took notes on teachers’ interaction with infants at the Loyola Marymount University Children’s Center. Presented observations of the experience to the students at Loyola Marymount University’s Department of Education.
