· Working with Nokia equipment’s 5G21/LTE21/GSM20 software with default and standard definitions.
· Responsible for successful delivery of numerous 5G/FDD/TDD/2G FTK, Intro & antenna swap scopes.
· Extensive hands-on experience with Nokia tools such as NetAct Apps, Monitor, CM Editor, BTS Manager, etc.
· KPI analysis and Optimization using parameter and/or physical tuning.
· Configuring and Optimizing VoLTE, CA, MIMO, Massive MIMO, etc. based on site configuration and implementing features to enhance performance.
· Testing, tuning and implementing new Radio features and trials on different technologies and documenting them.
· Parameter optimization to improve the KPIs for Cluster acceptance, which include HO parameter tuning, throughput parameter tuning, load balancing, Cell Selection /reselection, scheduling, 4G layering strategy etc.
· Network auditing of different network elements (gNodeB, eNodeB) and resolving the discrepancies.
· Working on the end user experience enhancement in coordination with customer and field teams.
· Planning of PCI/RSI/msg1freqstart for new 5G, PCI/RSI for new 4G and BCCH/TCH for new 2G sites.
· Defining and tuning 2G to 2G/3G/4G neighbors and 4G to 2G/3G neighbors.
· Tuning and optimizing of 5G-4G interworking parameters/features along with enabling EN-DC and its related parameters on newly launched 5G sites.
· Technical discussions with customer to improve high level indicators viz. Accessibility, Retainability, Usage, Mobility for 5G/4G/2G technologies.
· 5G/LTE End user complaints handling (Throughput enhancement, resolving poor coverage/quality, Drop calls, etc.).
· KPI monitoring and reporting after major activities such as BW expansion, new PCI/RSI plan, Power saving activities, Inter eNB CA, etc. to management and customer.
· Escalate to concerned department if any degradation in KPIs due to interference, HW, alarms, TX issue, etc. and follow up until issue resolved.
· Tracing logs using Wireshark tool to identify and resolve various issues faced.
· Knowledge sharing with customer and junior team members to enhance efficiency of the team.
· Maintaining and updating project tracker and database and sharing with team/management.
· Analyzing 2G/3G/LTE log files from drive test using Actix/Discovery/MapInfo & prepare reports.
· New sites Planning and Optimization (XML planning and provisioning, frequency, antenna and neighbor optimization).
· Layer 3 and events analysis using TEMS & Actix.
· Troubleshooting drive test to rectify the issues like cross-feeders, Partial swap, interference, mute calls, blocked calls, quality issue, over-shooting, missing neighbors, etc.
· Pilot pollution analysis and carry out appropriate actions.
· Review and analysis of existing Frequency Plan (BCCH and Hopping), Drop calls, Access Failure Rates, Packet drop analysis and provide recommendations to meet KPIs.
· Engineered efficient solutions to deliver GSM and 3G by formulating solutions to capacity, quality and coverage problems.
· Investigate Service Affecting Alarms, & escalating the issue based on severity.
· Maintain tracker for each scope & update management on daily basis.
· Single site & Cluster Drive Test in Central Region (Main highways and detailed roads) targeting to detect radio problems and solve them to meet Drive Test acceptance criteria.
· Dealing with Customer Complaints and successfully closing it in coordination with senior engineer.
· Providing solutions to the customer for optimizing network Coverage and Capacity during customer complaints.
· Various Radio Optimization activities that include physical optimization (Antenna Azimuth and tilt tuning, power change, Neighbor Optimization, etc.)
· Performing cluster drives for Network Benchmark (2G/3G/LTE) for different operators.
· Perform Post Processing and Generate Reports for Drive Test logs using Genex Assistant & Actix Analyzer tools.
