Job Responsibilities:
• Supervising procurement team in finalizing construction material packages.
• Handling Subcontract and permanent material requestions.
• Conducting meetings with vendors to resolve queries during bidding stage.
• Closing deals with vendors negotiating prices and and scope of works.
• Carryout techno commercial evaluation, recommend the best subcontractor and vendor.
• Conducting negotiation meeting with vendors to finalize the contract.
• Presenting final commercial package to board for approval .
• Finalizing Sub-contracts and Purchase Order
• Responsible for procurement requirements of permanent and non-permanent materials.
• Manage and lead the Buyers/Procurement Engineers team to carry-out and
complete the procurement of required material packages.
• Take the lead in finalizing the material packages, conduct meetings with vendors, finalizing contract after completing price market survey, after completing price and payment terms negotiation ensuring the scope complying project specification and construction team requirements.
• Ensuring approval of technical and construction department to ensure that vendor proposal is fully covered and complying the project requirement and has no technical error.
• Coordination with finance for payment related issues, ensuring payment and L/C are on track for the priority contracts and purchase orders.
Receive material requisitions from the project sites and operation team.
Obtain quotations, preparing price comparisons in light of required specifications.
Converting material requisitions in to purchase orders or contracts.
Negotiate payment terms contract or purchase order conditions with vendors.
Coordinate with fiancé department for the vendors payments.
Conduct a weekly meeting with expeditors to track the delivers or to know the
problem if any in terms of material delivery.
Oversee the sales process to attract new clients. Work with senior team members to identify and manage risks. Maintain fruitful relationships with clients and address their needs effectively. Research and identify new market opportunities.
Researching organizations and individuals to identify new leads and potential new markets.
Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing.
Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products.
Developing quotes and proposals.
Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person.
Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
Handling all the Procurement activities related to the projects
