Functional tasks:
1- Preparing terms of references (TOR) for engaging Consultant to provide consultancy services for power project. 2- Evaluating the consulting services offers and selecting the consultant for the IPP project.
3- Participating in technical and the financial evaluation of the bids received from the sponsors. 4- Planning&Studding new power projects to cover electricity demand in Jordan.
5- Preparing technical specification and formal agreements for new power projects on BOO basis.
6- Preparing the request for proposals (RFP) for the prequalification stage for the interested companies of the power projects Amman east & Alqatrana south of Jordan.
7- Evaluation of bids received from the interested bidders and issuing the short list for the qualified bidders.
8- Site selection of Amman east& Alqatrana power projects.
9- Participation with concerned parties to study expansion of electric power generation of Jordanian electric syst
10- Follow up execution of implementation agreements signed between the Jordanian government & project companies.
11- Follow up the progress of power projects with qualified company until reached financial close, also the time schedule for implementation of equipment during construction stage.
12- Participation in technical committees regarding electric power generation from renewable resources.
13- Participation in technical committees regarding evaluation of direct proposals for renewable projects.
Follow up the electrical & instrument maintanance for gas turbine at Dad power station.
Functional tasks:
1-Supervision the Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Gas turbine Frame 9 E at Rehab power station.
2-Maintenance and Operation engineer in Rehab power station, I maintained all faults of Control system SpeedTronic Mark 5 on GE Gas turbine Frame 6 and Frame 9E.
3-Follow up the preventive and programmed maintenance for electrical and instrument equipment during gas inspection and hot gas inspection as recommended in the maintenance manual.
4- Testing and calibration of instrument equipment of gas turbine frame 6B & 9E as IGV, gas control valve servo valves, LVDTs, flow divider magnetic pickups and pressure switches.
Follow up the power plants, Resha and rehab power plants regarding the operation & maintenance for gas turbine, also follow up spare parts needed for power stations and major maintenance related to above mentioned power plants.
