• Double hatting for two responsibilities covering MENA Middleware Domain management as well as Country Head of Enterprise Infrastructure for Egypt.
• Provide management for Windows, Linux, VMWare, Database, Storage and Middleware teams under the Enterprise Infrastructure.

• Demonstrates and improves process by continuously reviewing for efficiency and introducing change to enhance procedure.
• Identifies solutions to problems and mitigates risk based on sound judgment.
• To research and evaluate technical solutions for infrastructure and business projects. This incorporates software and hardware benchmarking and evaluation together with the production of reasoned proposals and subsequent business cases for senior management approval after going through a deep Analysis of business requirements (capacity, responsiveness, security etc) and review available technology to provide bespoke solutions to meet unique customer requirements.
• Provide appropriate staff to enable the design, development and implementation of new hardware and software technology solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions (FIMs, GSMs, circulars) and external regulatory requirements, including the management of operational risk and adherence to the Groups standards of ethical behavior.
• Undertake the co-ordination of projects instigated by or with other IT teams. This incorporates the approval of plans ensuring they are unambiguous, understood, and have commitment.

• Maintain the application landscape maps to reflect the As-Is, recommend To-Be architecture and suggest ways to cover the gaps on the road map.

• Support in ICT Infrastructure migration to industry standard VMware, Data stores, ETL, reporting and standardize technical infrastructure focusing on modernization and decommissioning of the legacy systems.

• Work closely with the different ICT teams to simplify the technology architecture and ways of integration through a standard middleware solution.
