• Establish time frame schedule and construction tracking percentage sheets.
• Formulation/implementation of all pre-commissioning and commissioning plans to liaise with the contractor and the owner company handling all activities. This includes the preparation of procedure follow-up reports and related documentation submission.
• Ensure that all construction materials and equipment are in accordance with project specifications.
• Applying service tests to ensure the functionality of construction materials and equipment before commissioning.
• As a part of a multi-discipline team, I was also responsible for the following; assist with delivery of commissioning procedures, completion and commissioning check sheets, handover certificates and punch lists for Oil and Gas plant systems.
• Using Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) and breaking plants into systems and sub systems (function systemization) in accordance with commissioning tracking system (CTS) procedures and Guidance on Certification (GOC).
• Prepare observation reports considering all activities/equipment or fittings that are compliant with standards in the construction phase. This includes following -up with the construction team to clear all items in order to minimize punch lists and reduce overall construction time.
• Ensure that all pipelines are connected to the right inlet and outlet equipment ports.
• Ensure piping and vessels are free of any damages and being sure of its welding joints by conducting hydrostatic tests and monitoring pressure and temperature values over time on charts.
• Ensure piping is a scale free by performing flushing (water/air) and blowing tests.
• Checking vessels internals and making sure of its cleanness.

• Liaising with other engineering discipline leaders and vendors.
• Ensure owner signatures on all certificates for the tested systems as soon as these tests finishes.
• Ensure necessary health and safety precautions are undertaken so no accidents would happen.
