New managerial scope and responsibility of managing the entire regualtory affairs teams and for the entire Jordan Telecom Group (Fixed, Mobile and Internet), encompasing the following sub functions (regulatory operations, dispute resolution, regulatory technical support, customers complaints..), including the following:
 Participating in providing the formal industry comments on any Government consultaion for the legislations that are related to the Telecom Sector such as the Telcom law, ICT Government policy, Electronic Transactions law, Cyber Crimes law.
 Maintain high involvement in the Telecom Law, Competition Law, Trade Secrets and Unfair Competition law, Regulations, TRC instructions, and Decisions, Orange Jordan License Agreement and Government Policy for the ICT sectors.
 Act as a focal point of contact with Telecom Regulatroy Commission (TRC), Ministry of Information and Communications Technology (MoICT), other concerned ministries, entities and lobbies.
 Participate in the negotiations and meetings to speed up the process between JTG & TRC; influence the decision makers in TRC in favor of JTG’s interest or avoid/minimize major decisions that may be taken against JTG interests.
 Provide internal regulatory advice for JTG entities in all regulatory matters.
 Establish, manage and Maintain a good relation with the TRC and other concerned Governmental bodies.
 Represent JTG in all regulatory and licensing negotiations, and agreements with customers and other licensed operators, to ensure that JTG's interests are met.
 Monitor the regulatory evolution, to provide guidance and vision to senior management on all regulatory and licensing affairs.
 Manage all JTG’s reponses on the TRC consultations, in order to protect JTG's interests.
 Ensure that all JTG acts are in compliance with regulatory obligations, to avoid any actions that could be taken against JTG's interest.
 Review and validate offers or new services launched by JTG entities in complaince with the regulatory obligations aspects.
 Manage responding to all legal cases filed by/against JTG entities by/against other licensees and against the Regulator from regulatory perspective arguments.
 Particpate, upon request, in various projects and tenders for regulatory support.

REGULATORY MANAGER (MOBILE BUSINESS UNIT) at Orange Jordan

 Participated in major projects, including (1) 3G license, where Orange Jordan is the first licensee granted 3G license; and (2) Mobile payments (Orange Money), managing both legal and regulatory aspects.

 Research, collect, circulate and exchange information on matters pertaining to telecommunications regulatory affairs.
 Inform management of all decisions, regulations and instructions issued by the TRC.
 Develop and maintain close relations with the various external bodies, including the TRC, to facilitate issues related to these entities.
 Define a clear policy for implementation to ensure that the Mobile Business Unit (MBU) is fully compliant with its license obligations and the enforce regulations.
 Analyze and communicate with the TRC all MBU products and services as well as promotional offers to get their approvals.
 Coordinate and communicate internally with the concerned parties all correspondences received from the TRC and prepare a proper answer after making the necessary analysis to keep them posted about new matters.
 Support and follow up Technical Regulatory issues (Consultations, Type Approvals, Radio Spectrum Frequencies, ….).
 Participate in favour of MBU on the TRC’s consultations and instructions to protect Orange Jordan interests.
 Draft, review and validate official correspondences to the TRC.
 Analyse and follow up customers complaints received from the TRC in order to comply on the related regulations and to avoid litigation.

 NMS: for SDH Network Elements(ALCATEL Add/Drop Multiplexer families 1660SM and 1650SMC).
 ENMS(Edge Network Management System): for SDH Network Elements (SIEMENS Add/Drop Multiplexer families SMA1, SMA1k, SMA4).
