the maintenance of total company fleet: trucks, trailers & passenger cars through internal workshops & external service centers within both budget as well as safety guidelines.
•Controlling the budget of the workshop across all company locations through tracking all related cost & expenditure elements (salaries, overtime, and licensing, spare parts .etc. to ensure adherence for set budget limit. Working on efficiency initiatives to better manage our cost base.
•Managing and maintaining the workshops assets including buildings, cars commercial trucks according to company guidelines.
•Managing a workshop team of Technicians, Supervisors, & Licensing Clerks through assigning tasks and responsibilities for each one, evaluating performances and achievements, improving the work environment and team building to achieve the department goals.
•Managing the interface between the insurance companies and the workshops to ensure delivery of the cars in acceptable and safe conditions in the minimum possible time.
•Ensuring that the new drivers recruited in the company adhere to the good driving practices and have the basic operational knowledge of the vehicles to ensure good utilization of assets.
•Responsible for the technical evaluation of the suppliers and the external work shop to insure they meet the required service knowledge and are capable to deliver the services in an acceptable range.
•Ensuring the proper implementation of the preventive maintenance schedule for the fleet through monitoring the mileage of the trucks.
•Keeping well documentation and history archive for all vehicles in the company.
•Performing the annual renewal of the licenses for all the fleet to comply with the traffic laws.
•Ensuring fluent fleet operations by the availability of the required spare parts for the preventive maintenance and the direct purchasing and retaining the minimum stock levels in the warehouses.
