The FAST Consortium LLC -Riyadh Metro Project led by Spanish Construction Group FCC and including Samsung C&T, Alstom, Strukton, Freyssinet, Typsa, Atkins & Setec is to build lines 4, 5
and 6 .
● Discover profitable suppliers / contractors and initiate business partnerships.
● Negotiation to secure advantageous terms, with achieving proven cost saving 10% -35%.
● Conduct visits to suppliers and contractors premises to access their size and competences.
● Provide appropriate feedback to various departments enabling timely planning and forecasting within the organization.
● Initiate and set up meetings with relevant parties when required in order to promote cost savings.
● Control spends and builds a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
● Initiate supplier and contractor qualifications internally and towards client.
● Prepare weekly/monthly and KPI report for Procurement Manager.
● Negotiated purchase contracts with most favorable terms that resulted in savings of 5% to 30%.
● Coordinating and monitoring of contract and purchase orders execution.
● Negotiating the prices, conditions and contract terms.
● Analysis of vendor quotations and technical document reviews.
● Ensures that purchases are within budget
● Allocate tasks to procurement officers and follow-up for task execution.
● Performing variations and contractual amendments.
● Managing company-wide forecasts for services, material and equipment.
● Key member in developing and implementing ERP procurement module.
● Preparation of feasibility studies and advises top management for suitable course of action.
● Development of specification with project engineers to establish performance criteria and optimum option.
● Preparing aggregate production planning and daily production schedule.
● Preparing preventive and corrective maintenance plans for plant.
● Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing and stock requirements.
● Purchasing of equipment and material at most favorable terms and conditions.
● Ensures highest safety and quality standards in the production facility.
● Reduced energy consumption by 25% by applying new technologies.
● Maintains healthy team spirit to achieve highest productivity.
