Enap is an energy company owned by the state of Chile (ENAP). Egypt branch is one of its international Exploration and Production operations. Other branches exist in Ecuador, Argentina, Chile and Iran.
My main role was contributing to the short and long-term organizational planning and strategy by serving as an active member of the management team. My main responsibilities were:
Planning, developing and implementing strategy for HRM & ensuring that HR & Administration policies and activities continuously support the company to achieve its goals and strategies.
Establishing and maintaining appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of HR development and the administration activities.
Main Achievements:
Designing and implementing the company pension and saving plan scheme.
Initiating an Oil & Gas HR Group for sharing the knowledge, news, experiences and dealings with EGPC & EGAS.
Creating the Company Salary Grading System using Hay methodology.
Initiating & implementing a recognition program.
Implementing a competency based Performance Management System.
Implementing HITS - Human Resources Information Software.
PICO Energy group is a holding company of all energy related investments, downstream, renewable energy and Logistics. In addition to integrated turn-key drilling and work over services in Mexico.
I was responsible for the strategic & operational Human Resource Management including but not limited to; Developing and implementing human resource polices and procedures, Managing the operational HR Functions such as, Organizational Development, Recruitment and Workforce Planning, Reward and Remuneration, Training & Development & Performance Management.
Main Achievements:
Creating the Company Salary Grading System using Hay methodology.
Developing and revising the Company’s benefit system.
Negotiating and implementing the company’s Life & Medical insurance coverage.
Creating and implementing the Company’s intranet.
Proposing & implementing the Company’s performance appraisal system.
HR team was awarded as best team for year 2006.
Implementing HITS - Human Resources Information Software.
Assist in reviewing & formulating HR policies, supervise the implementation of the training and recruitment annual plans, Review & manage the performance management process, Participate in HR & compensation-related surveys for effective policy & strategy formulation, Review Employee Satisfaction Surveys results and recommend, implement & monitor corrective actions to enhance employee commitment & satisfaction.

I have got a good experience in the field of purchasing, shipment procedures and customs, as I worked as an assistant to the purchasing manager for a year and half. I was responsible for the overseas purchasing. Made contact with the overseas suppliers, issue the purchasing orders, method of shipment and trace the goods till they reach the customs.
