News Department, responsible for:
Operates the Character Generator during rehearsals and productions.
Writes addresses and names that support program content prior to show day.
Prepares all title pages before rehearsals and makes changes as needed.
Follows the script and ensures that no matter how fast or slow presenters talking.
Involve the setting-up and operation of the script prompting systems for presenters and speakers.

Books guests for Abu Dhabi TV and ensures that they make it to air, taking responsibility for arranging the logistics and liaising with the news desk over studio and satellite bookings.
working closely with Output, Newsgathering, Planning and Satellite teams providing appropriate information and helping with logistics as required.
Providing all necessary information on guests needed by output teams, ensuring that the appropriate details are entered into the relevant systems, and that requirements are made known to Graphics and other teams as necessary.
Receiving guests who come to Abu Dhabi media company building (News Center) and making sure that they are delivered to the appropriate production staff. When their contribution is complete, you will ensure that they are assisted off the premises and that any other necessary arrangements have been made for them.
Working with production teams in the studio / gallery to ensure that live interviews / DTLs / Phonos appear at the appropriate time in the programme, amending running orders as appropriate and with required accuracy
Entering costs associated with interviews into the relevant systems e.g. guest fees / transportation
Ensuring that live interviews, phonos etc. are recorded.
Responsible for recording of the financial details for any news coverage.
Attending editorial meetings and taking part in informal discussions, offering creative well-researched ideas for guests and contributors .
Assignment Producer Responsible for:
Organize and coordinate daily news coverage .
Prioritize and communicate assignments to correspondents.
Manage/coordinate the time and logistics to make sure selected stories are covered efficiently with the available staff demonstrating an ability to prioritize and make decisions consistent with the mission of the organization
Maintain an assignment board listing with the stories that are being covered, who is covering them and approximately how much air time is required to each story, so that anyone in the newsroom can know the status of a particular crew simply by quickly looking at the board.
