Currently working as a Senior Primavera P6 Planning Engineer, leading the overall Primavera P6 program planning and control of the Integrated Operational Solution (IOS) Alliance of Anglian Water UK, covering all the parcels of work including Energy, Solar, Water, Water Recycling, Parcels, Pumping Stations and Standalone schemes ensuring consistency and governance across board especially with our alliance partners i.e. Kier, Morrison, and Barhale. Working as part of the integrated planning team to identify, interrogate, analyse and control cost and schedule variances, risks and opportunities. The alliance aims to design and build around 800 schemes worth approximately £1.2billion across the current five-year AMP6 period.

Main responsibilities include:
• Working on site on major NEC3 Infrastructure development projects - Energy, Solar, Water & Water Recycling projects; ensuring that new projects are added into P6 in the right nodes with appropriate project and activity codes and approved baselines.
• Manage and accurately maintain detailed Primavera P6 schedules, ensuring timely updates and communication to all stakeholders. Creating and monitoring Level 1 - Level 4 schedules for the various types of projects e.g. water, water recycling, parcels, pumping stations, energy and solar schemes. Providing consistent reporting and trusted schedules for the senior management team.
• Ensure subcontractor programmes are integrated into overall programme requirement, with dependencies identified through scenario (What-if scenario) planning.
• Using Primavera P6, review schedule impacts of Compensation Events (CE) and Early Warnings (EWNs) on pre-construction handover, move to site, and construction finish dates.
• Prepare Variance Report and Earned Value analysis of the risks and communicate same to Project engineers (Pes), Project delivery managers (PDMs), Cost managers, and Integrated Programme Leads (IPLs).
• Conduct analysis on plans to provide insight to Project Managers that will help to enhance delivery and improve decision-making on the management dependencies and critical path.
• Reviewing Sub-Contractors schedules and advising them on how to improve the integrity of the schedules, in line with NEC3 Contracts. Run schedule integrity and quality checks on programme submitted by contractors prior to acceptance using appropriate tools to ensure schedules are of appropriate quality and integrity.
• Produce Primavera P6 schedule analysis/Variance reports to facilitate program governance meetings to inform design and target costs. Ensure that Early warning Notices (EWNs), Compensation events and other risks/opportunities are adequately captured in the programmes
• Support in the creation and weekly updates of Solar and Energy project programmes. Resource and cost loading of the programmes to show current and projected profiles and reporting resource and cost utilisation and capacity.
• Initiated and spearheaded the addition of Early Warning Notices (EWNS) both for time and cost related impacts on P6 programmes across all projects, which shows the visibility of the activities causing potential delays on the programmes.
• Assess and advises the project team on the potential impact of changes, risks, early warning notices in terms of plan key dates, deliverables and costs.
• Initiated the weekly creation and weekly updates in an Excel Dashboard using updated programme data from Primavera p6 programmes and client planned dates for all projects.

• Managing a team of 4 planners working on site on a JV Contract (ExxonMobil / Amec Foster Wheeler Santoprene TPV Project; Highways / Road construction - BRT Project - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) with a tier one main contractor on a high end, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation development projects, consisting of a major regeneration of the area being built and installed with a project value over $1.3 Billion. Reporting directly into the Project Manager on site and working collaboratively with the team to drive Project standards.
• Working with all relevant project / discipline personnel, the Client and Stakeholders - Designers, Procurement team, Construction engineers, Commissioning team, Sub-contractors - pertaining to the preparation, monitoring, updating of plans and schedules from Initial design to detailed design level, through to construction and commissioning phases of the project and reporting on projects progress on a weekly basis to the Client.
• Provide & maintain a robust plan for Civil - Earth works, Excavation works, Concrete foundation works, Adaptation works, Building works, Asphalt works and Other Constructions works; Mechanical - (Pneumatic) Pipe work, Pre-qualification, Fabrication and installation and Electrical & Instrumentation - MCC installation, Cabling, Testing & Completion and drive the core delivery team to deliver the project on time in alignment with the agreed project delivery strategy.
• Develop & maintain the accuracy of each plan through a collaborative approach to ensure collective ownership & buy in from all relevant stakeholders & suppliers.
• Drive the Delay Analysis and the early warning process by proactively identifying potential delivery risks before they occur and develop mitigation plans. Drive the change management process to ensure approved changes are reflected on the plan
• Ensure the importance of the critical path activities & the sensitivity of other activities are communicated and acted upon by the relevant stakeholders. Understanding constraints & work sequencing, while maintaining a robust resource & cost loaded plans for all projects.
• Work with Project Leads to review sub-contractor’s schedules to ensure trueness in work sequence as compared to their execution plan; ensure that all work scope is comprehensively defined in the schedule and that contract milestones and tasks are properly integrated. Develop baseline schedules and schedule related performance indicators for monitoring of performance - SPI / CPI; Earned Value Management
• Collect/enter daily updates; perform daily analysis of schedule performance relative to job progress. Perform earned value analysis; Produce and interpret reports concerning project status. Provide facilitation, planning and resource allocation. - Manage dependencies and maintain the critical path - Schedule Log Analysis - Maintain and process information from different entities and coordinate in a controlled process.
• Liaise with cost discipline in the control and forecasting of man-hour budgets -Gather accurate progress and expended man-hours information at relevant times. Prepare all relevant reports, issue log and support other personnel as appropriate.
Participate in scheduled risk analysis as required and assist with the auditing process
• Support the planning function in managing project schedules - Work closely with the project team, subcontractors and financial entities to maintain accurate and up to date data for multiple stages of multiple projects.
• Transfer skills and knowledge to internal staff as appropriate

• Overall responsibility for the development, monitoring and reporting of all programmes.
• Manage a portfolio of over 200 Highways / Rail / Buildings / Structures/ Water & Maintenance programmes. Provide support to schemes and to programme managers in the areas of effective planning, scheduling, monitoring, forecasting and controlling various projects (Strategic Highways / Rail / Buildings & Structures, Civil Construction Projects, Horsley Water treatment works - United Kingdom, ENI Ship Yard Marine Project -Kazakhstan, G pharm Tech II and Novozymes Bio tech Projects - United Kingdom & Denmark, MetOP SG MMT RAL Space project - United Kingdom) and ensuring that all necessary inputs (materials & resources) are available to implement projects.
• Review tender programmes during bidding phase and monitor project plans during FEED - design phase; Engineering, Procurement, Construction
• Review overall EPC programme and ensure compliance by all team members (Process Design, M&E, E&I, Civil, CAD, Procurement, Installation, Testing, Commissioning and Operations) and sub-contractors to the issued planning documents and procedures with Primavera P6 and MS Project. Developing base plans and monitor the project phases. Lead a team of planners on project(s) assigned to and critically analyse projects and raise early warning flags in case of slippage(s). Understanding of repeat production tasks, timing enhancement and resource allocation.
• Building Primavera P6 models, updating them to reflect project changes, and generating outputs that can be used in the weekly and monthly progress reports. Earned Value Management reporting, Schedule & Cost Performance indexes SPI/ CPI
• Review resident engineer’s and sub-contractors weekly reports (during the Base build, Fit out, Design Qualification, Commissioning and validation) and Follow up of issue’s impacting the projects schedule and maintaining a data base of projects progress and project documentation following internal procedures.
• Monitoring and analysing progress & efficiency of each project and reporting to senior managers. Ensuring variations and extra works are incorporated in programmes.
• Responsible for the implementation of plans with relevant parties, including Project Managers, Designers, Commercial Teams, Sub-contractors and suppliers and ensure projects are completed within specified timescales, scope specifications, budgets, quality and process adherence. Informing Project Manager of any slippage
• Prepare projects baseline, Milestone dates and monitor it, ensuring that activities scheduled are running to according to plan, through regular updates via the collaborative NEC3 planning meetings and promote continuous improvement.
• Actively encouraging/developing alternative construction techniques to achieve better timescales, whilst maintaining the project requirements for budget, quality and safety.

• Produce and monitor project plans using Primavera, with multiple contractors, multiple suppliers and multiple sequential projects (Statoil - Oil Refinery - Norway; SEEF - Petroleum - Qatar; LISCO- Thermal Power Station - Libya etc)
• Responsible for project planning and management - Manage projects throughout the entire project lifecycle; including project planning, initiation/proposals, project delivery, business liaison / stakeholder management, post implementation review and project close out / handover.
• Preparation, progress updating and maintenance of the project schedule at all levels (from front end engineering definition through to commissioning)
• Prepare, manage and maintain the overall EPC master project schedule using critical path network format in Primavera for each project area and utilizing the project approved Work Breakdown Structure in line with company standards and the project structure.
• Regular progress reporting liaising with Project Managers and other senior staff
• Assist in the analysis of costing reports received by project managers

• Assist with annual appraisals/reviews with the cost department. Develop and manage continuous improvement with in the planning department.
• Participate in specific planning management control audits as required by senior management and clients. Work with plant operations to develop the plant shutdown, system release, and start up schedule
• Ensure project delivery progress against budget, time, quality and cost. Define the activity list, manage the testing schedule, agree and assign resources, manage the resources to deliver on time, cost and quality.
• Support senior management in project planning, scheduling, documenting, measuring, monitoring and analysing project performance and risks against strategic objectives.
• Collect information and prepare regular progress reports as required internally and / or by the client, including Resource histograms, S-curves, Physical progress and Performance indicator reports.
• Oversee many ongoing projects and adapt them to planning. Manage project staff to ensure all milestones are achieved within agreed time frame and ensure adequate skilled resources are available.

• Performed root cause analysis on complex issues and manage them to resolution and also performed trend (variance) analysis to identify structural billing issues or process gaps which subsequently lead to new projects.

• Used analytical and quantitative methods: Supply Chain Planning Analyst to understand, predict, plan and enhance supply chain processes. Responsible for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, plan and develop recommendations which support SCM planning and operations. Lead a robust Sales and Operational Planning process.
• Supporting senior management in planning, measuring, monitoring and analysing performance against strategic objectives. Preparing month-end closing financial commentaries and producing monthly variance reports for budget comparisons, detailing month-on-month and year-over-year performance, and leading on investigating and explaining variances. Act as the link between the planning functions, project managers, Sales & Marketing to ensure that customer service level is maintained at minimal cost
• Providing meaningful supply chain planning reporting and analysis to identify profitability and cash flow improvements opportunities, through the monthly Flash (dashboards) of the actual in Profit and Loss, and the control reports.
