• Working on site on major NEC3 Infrastructure development projects - Energy, Solar, Water & Water Recycling projects; ensuring that new projects are added into P6 in the right nodes with appropriate project and activity codes and approved baselines.
• Manage and accurately maintain detailed Primavera P6 schedules, ensuring timely updates and communication to all stakeholders. Creating and monitoring Level 1 - Level 4 schedules for the various types of projects e.g. water, water recycling, parcels, pumping stations, energy and solar schemes. Providing consistent reporting and trusted schedules for the senior management team.
• Ensure subcontractor programmes are integrated into overall programme requirement, with dependencies identified through scenario (What-if scenario) planning.
• Using Primavera P6, review schedule impacts of Compensation Events (CE) and Early Warnings (EWNs) on pre-construction handover, move to site, and construction finish dates.
• Prepare Variance Report and Earned Value analysis of the risks and communicate same to Project engineers (Pes), Project delivery managers (PDMs), Cost managers, and Integrated Programme Leads (IPLs).
• Conduct analysis on plans to provide insight to Project Managers that will help to enhance delivery and improve decision-making on the management dependencies and critical path.
• Reviewing Sub-Contractors schedules and advising them on how to improve the integrity of the schedules, in line with NEC3 Contracts. Run schedule integrity and quality checks on programme submitted by contractors prior to acceptance using appropriate tools to ensure schedules are of appropriate quality and integrity.
• Produce Primavera P6 schedule analysis/Variance reports to facilitate program governance meetings to inform design and target costs. Ensure that Early warning Notices (EWNs), Compensation events and other risks/opportunities are adequately captured in the programmes
• Support in the creation and weekly updates of Solar and Energy project programmes. Resource and cost loading of the programmes to show current and projected profiles and reporting resource and cost utilisation and capacity.
• Initiated and spearheaded the addition of Early Warning Notices (EWNS) both for time and cost related impacts on P6 programmes across all projects, which shows the visibility of the activities causing potential delays on the programmes.
• Assess and advises the project team on the potential impact of changes, risks, early warning notices in terms of plan key dates, deliverables and costs.
