 Process purchase requisitions / orders. Follow-up with Suppliers on deliveries and coordinate with Inventory to ensure that all items are delivered on time and updated in the system without delays.
 Ensure all procurements are conducted in a fair and transparent manners, are fully documented and are in compliance with World Learning’s best practices, USAID rules and regulations.
 Establish and Coordinate with vendors on the delivery and distribution of goods and services. Maintain ethical, professional working relationship with vendors
 Assure the filing and archiving of the daily logistics documentation and other requests
 Develop timely procurement, stock, operations and logistics reports
 Search for new sources of supply and controlling cost of purchasing
 Execution and monitoring of all regular purchasing duties, advise Procurement Specialist of any discrepancies/amendments of any POs as part of the process.
 Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions, and maintain supplier relationships
 Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports and price lists. Maintain rating system as a tool for measuring delivery adherence for future reference at the time of PO issuance.
 Administer contract performance, including delivery, receipt, warranty, damages and insurance
 Responsible to manage general procurement and petty cash purchases and should be capable for buying whenever required.
 Fleet Management
 Review and approve shipments and documents from suppliers according to agreed INCOTERMS.
 Arrange, track and keep trace of inbound Courier whenever required.

Logistics Coordinator at Geodis Wilson

1. Assure the follow of all the sea/air materials coming Europe, Houston inbound/outbound cargo-assets for Caracal Energy, Hydrocarbon, Schlumberger, ExxonMobil, PSCHAUD under the custody of Geodis;
2. Trained all the Materials Managers at the different site (Komé, Badila, Mangara, Belanga and also Ndjamena should be well trained in MAGELLAN.
3. Follow up the customs and transit, Transport and operations;

5. Track the physical stock in Ndjamena Airport P4 and P2 yard and informed the clients in order to have the overall update of the materials on hands;
6. Assist to the weekly meeting with the client and draft the report to the projects managers and country Manager for the next week loading plan and monthly KPI;
7. Alert the client about the importation documents (Temporary importation) DIT, D18, D18 bis…
8. Follow up of the exportations re-exportation with clients and Geodis internal (pre-alert to the consignee before the arrival of cargo;
9. Update in Magellan ops all the delivered cargo;
10. Tracking and overall control of Geodis the broker for the follow up of all directs release, pending files to be cleared and inform the clients to complete the import clearance then start the export process as well;
11. Follow up all the convoys in transit, do the daily report and sent to the pre alert to the clients to be in picture of the inbound convoys;
12. Make sure that all the Deliveries were updated in the Geodis Database.
13. Coordinate all matters related to the customs, transit and transport of Geodis Chad between the client and the local authorities;
