*To ensure each project is delivered as per client requirements by providing engineering expertise for the design & execution of all jobs, detailing, technical and material specifications and reviewing and approving all technical drawings estimations and production milestones in line with the project requirements.
*Support the client bid process providing expertise on design engineering, estimation and preparations of preliminary level drawings to meet client specifications at tendering stage.
*Define technical specifications for all projects working closely with the draftsman to prepare and present technical drawings for internal sign off and client approval.
*Ensure drawings are transmitted to Operations within agreeed time frames to ensure production time scales are not affected.
*Liaise with clients throughout the duration of the project as key client interface for clarificationson technical specifications, project updates, resolution of issues and chasing invoices as per agreed terms of the contract.
*Interpret the client job variation requests accurately and ensure impact on costs, resources, quality and operations delivery are clearly understood and agreed between all stakeholders before any variations are accepted with the client.
*Check and approve Material Requsition documentation to support operations.
*Maintain version control for all drawings and design calculations throughout the project lifecycle tracking any amendments, refinements or modifications.
*Communicate regulalry with Operations during the project lifecycle with technical drawing updates so that necessary decisions or actions can be taken.
* Attend Production Meetings as appropriate to ensure job is progressing as planned and project specifications and updates are in line with technical drawings and client expectations.
*Check and review final product specification is in line with client requirements and present for internal sign off before delivery to client.
