▪ The Doha Expressway is a significant infrastructure project being carried out in Doha, Qatar. It will connect the
south of Doha with the north, and the east with the west. Estimated at QR 15 bn, the project construction began
in late 2007 and is expected to be completed in 2018.
▪ The project is a part of the country's road building program which is designed to reduce congestion, journey
times and environmental impacts, and improve the flow of traffic.
