• Review the Procurement Plan, Procurement & Expediting Procedures, and Document Control Procedures to ensure alignment with the Project Scope.
• Collaborate with the EPC Contractor Procurement Manager to track MRs and update the Project Procurement Plan on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Manage Purchase Orders (POs), including timely placement, forecasted delivery dates, and submission of unpriced POs.
• Coordinate with the Project Expediting Manager on PO placements, kick off meetings, planned/forecasted dates, and key engineering deliverables.

• Procurement and Expediting of Long lead and Critical E&I packages like GIS, AIS, LV Switchgears, Transformers (Power, Distribution and Dry type), ECS & IPCS, ICSS, UPS System and Telecom Systems.
• Procurement Focal point, Interfaced with all internal and External (Client) Stakeholders.
• Managing SPIR Coordinator and support Team for smooth ordering and deliveries of O&M Spares.
2. MENDER DEVELOPMENT FIELD PHASE 1 (ADNOC Onshore) (Project Value: USD 350 Million)

4. Hail and Gasha (ADNOC Offshore) (Project Value: USD 600 Million (CPECC Portion) / Overall value: USD 8.5 Billion)
• In Consortium with Saipem and NPCC, Procurement and EPC package preparation of Category B and C Items like Instrument Air Compressors, Dryers, Well head Control Panels, Field Instruments (Transmitters & Gauges), AC & DC UPS, Instrument Tubes and Fittings, Electrical Cable etc.

Role:
• Led a team of 15 professional buyers/expeditors and support staff, providing direction and mentorship.
• Managed procurement standards and methodologies, ensuring consistent application across projects.
• Mentored team members in resolving challenges related to various packages and commercial issues.
• Tracked and maintained cost reduction reports, on-time delivery (OTD) records, and monthly/yearly savings.
• Oversaw the procurement of E&I and compressor (instrument and conveying) packages, including air dryers, for ongoing material/ash handling projects in the power sector. Key clients included NTPC, BHEL, APGENCO, Reliance, ADANI, ESSAR, BGR Energy, and international clients such as Petro Vietnam, Lillama, Hyundai, and Daelim.
• Spearheaded shipping/forwarding agent selection, and planned and staffed the procurement team for seamless project execution. Exhibited strong crisis management skills by resolving vendor disputes and claims.

Role:
• Member of the Project Procurement Team, with experience working at the engineering center in Seoul, South Korea, and project offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai (UAE).
• Managed critical E&I and HSE packages, ensuring timely and efficient procurement.
• Presented updates during weekly progress calls with clients to monitor the status of critical packages and address any issues that arose.
• Prepared and submitted monthly project reports and conducted expediting visits to ensure alignment with project schedules.

Role:
• Member of the Corporate Project Procurement Team, responsible for the procurement of material handling, ash handling, long-distance conveyor belt, and 220kV switchyard packages for the Dahej and Hazira Captive Co-Generation Power Projects on an EPC basis.
• Finalized rate contracts for HT and LT motors for the J3 Project.
• Led end-to-end procurement of electrical equipment for ongoing petrochemical/polyester projects and coordinated the planning for upcoming turnkey captive power projects to be finalized on an EPC basis.
• Collaborated with contractors to develop and implement comprehensive purchasing plans, both overall and for individual items.
• Reviewed and implemented contractor purchasing and materials management plans, including plans for purchasing spare parts and bulk materials.

• Managed procurement of the 400kV switchyard and E&C (Electrical & C&I) packages for the 2X660MW Kawai Thermal Power Project.
Adani Power Ltd, Mundra Gujarat | Senior Engineer - Projects - From 03/2008 to 04/2011
• Planned and executed the erection, testing, and commissioning of MV and LV switchgears, bus ducts, transformers, bus transfer systems (BTS), electrical control panels (ECP), BTG MCC, common MCC, BMCC, TMCC, and HT/LT motors for the 4620 MW (4X330 MW + 5X660 MW) Mundra Power Project.
• Worked on numerical relays for various protection schemes, designed and modified electrical circuits to meet project requirements, and coordinated with contracting firms to ensure project completion within time and cost constraints.
