Acquires and demonstrates the required competencies in Field Operations and maintenance as defined in their fixed step program.
Commissioning, Installation, Calibration and maintenance of all Rig Sensors, Control & Gas equipment’s with highest standards, resulting in proper functionality and minimum failures.
Record all maintenance and failure events immediately and accurately using the most up to date Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Identifies and captures opportunities for improvement in equipment maintainability and reliability.
Assist the Q&Ops District Manager in co-coordinating mud logging unit and equipment forecast and requirements within the Country/District.
Ensure all equipment (i.e. fixed asset, stock items) procedures are well known and applied.
Perform Quality checks and modifications strictly as per procedure and according to the defined schedule.
Efficiently troubleshoots and repairs assigned equipment in a competent complete manner in accordance with documented procedures.
Ensure a high standard of quality control is maintained for unit and equipment installation and commissioning for mud logging units.
Ensures Asset Management processes, including maintenance, reporting and tracking, are in full compliance with Segment’s Processes and Standards.
Rig Up and Commissioning of MUD LOGGING UNIT prior to the drilling operation.
• Installation and Calibration of all major Rig sensors for Drilling and Logging Interpretation including all the sensors mentioned in the present job profile.
• Part of the R&D team in the development of stand alone Gas chromatograph & Total hydrocarbon Analyzer in OFI(I) ltd for ONGC for SCADA interfacing of the gas data of the various ONGC wells to the base.
• Planning, Assigning, supervising and executing daily instrument maintenance jobs in co-ordination with electrical/mechanical departments.
• Preparation and maintenance of substation log sheet is carried out and done substation related works like load scheduling and control panel operation.
• Trouble shooting of Power Transformers and Distribution Transformers.
• Done maintenance works like filtering power transformers and reconditioning.
