Participate in the development of demand forecasts and identify implications of such forecasts.
Manages complex data and business analyses to develop short, medium and Long term Forecast for assigned Product Line and make recommendations.
Works independently to construct complex statistical models to forecast business performance.
Tracks and owns the metrics required to measure Forecast quality and compares actual data to forecasted values, and develops the process for identifying and addressing performance gaps.
Contributes to priority projects with complex analyses and assists in developing recommendations
Works with cross-functional teams across the entire span of business planning activities
Develops go-forward business plan recommendations based on potential risks and returns
Coordinate with the Demand Planners to reduce inconsistencies in the forecast to prevent any negative impact on customer replenishment / customer service
Monitor closely on the Monthly S&OP Planning Process Scheduling releases with local TPMs .
Provide supply visibility to the sales teams at all times. In situations where the demand exceeds supply, discuss and align with the sales teams on the allocation of FG.
To communicate the allocations to the sales team once agreed upon.
Proactively identify possible supply chain constraints discuss and align with manufacturing and sales teams on any potential allocation of FG
Monitor the inventory on hand (Days On Hand ) at a daily level Inventory deployment and control
Work closely with central warehouse and the logistics/ distribution team to ensure timely execution of the FG Release
Conduct periodic review of national stock spread data to minimize finished goods inventory, WIP Inventory and Excess/Obsolete Inventory
On a monthly basis, identify and report on potential excess inventory, monitor shelf life all other inventory related issues
Business Excellence:Accountable for publishing results and glide paths for Supply Chain KPIs, like OTD (On time Delivery), ITO (Invenotry TurnOver), Inventory Days on Hand Status and Inventory Ageing status.
Work closely and communicate effectively with Global Planning Center & Distribution team on issues pertaining to inventory, cost and quality and drive initiatives to positively influence operating working capital
Refine and sustain the SCM Master Data Processes & Work Instructions to properly and efficiently govern procurement master and reference data
Contribute to Master Data system projects to enhance/improvedata quality and processes including UAT for planned releases
Develop the sourcing strategy for Telecom Equipments, along with process for evaluating supplier potentials
Identifying and developing relevant quality protocols and a system for managing quality on an ongoing basis

Selects a high-performance supply base for assigned portfolio, in accordance with short-list of preferred suppliers defined by Category Managers.
