Procurement engineer and Expediting of Mechanical eqpt and Valve.
1. Reviewing purchase order requirements to assure quality and project requirements are met.
2. Coordinatinginternally with various departments like engineering, procurement, construction, inspection, projects, document control and externally with vendors and clients to ensure the project deliverable are met.
3. Following up with vendors for timely delivery of all items on Purchase Orders to maintain project schedule.
4. Effective and timely expediting of Purchase Orders, updating expediting reports, and distributing the reports to the Project Team.
5. Identifies the need to make shop visits to ensure suppliers are on schedule.
6. Inspection of piping bulks and valves.
7. Identifying and forecasting delays including engineering drawing delays, fabrication problems, delivery delays and sub-supplier management
8. Close out the purchase order upon receipt of goods without rejection in terms of material delivery and engineering deliverables.
9. Certification of payment upon fulfillment of respective milestone requirements in execution of the Purchase orders.

1. Receive RFQ from Technical team and ensure the specification is proper and complete with necessary data and drawings and other requirements are spelled out in-line with client guidelines and requirements.
2. Sourcing of potential suppliers and floating inquiries in-line with clients NDA requirements and Approved vendor list requirements
3. Evaluation of Quotations in coordination with engineering in technical and Commercial aspects
4. Preparation of Commercial bid evaluation and coordinating for the technical bid evaluation
5. Negotiation for the competitive price, Schedule and contractual terms.
6. Purchase order / LOI / Terms and conditions drafting and issuance to the shortlisted vendor as per the client procedure requirements.
7. Expediting for the timely delivery and ensuring the complete compliance to the contractual requirement.
8. Develop and monitor the Procurement Control List and expediting report and circulate to the project team and client
9. Closing out the purchase order upon delivery of materials and other non- material requirements.
10. Training vendors in Shell E- SPIR program and reviewing the E-SPIR Supplier Program Data base in ASCII format in Advisor Program.
11. Field valve testing and service - Hydrostatic testing of valves and execution of repair work in coordination with thevendor representative.
