Develop CA strategy for company business plan to support business thrust as well as manage company reputation.
This involved smarting the organisation on CA skills by developing & enhancing competencies of PA staff, frontline personnel and management team.
Developed/executed focussed CA programmes to support change management during major re-engineering exercise in 1997.
This included developing/executing communication plan for internal and external consumption, holding statements, Qs & As, CA strategy to reach hearts & minds.
Provide effective support in managing various issues such as legacy of Lutong river, Lutong refinery sales, Baronia hand-over, Kota Belud base relocation, Miri abandoned land wells etc.
Developed the first CA emergency guideline in support of the company's main emergency team.
Lead CA team in emergency & crisis management during the SMDS plant explosion of 1997 - delivered impactful media strategy and executed media protocol, engagement plan with staff and public, advisory in managing compensation issue - the overall CA mgmt of this incident was recognised as best practise in the Shell group.
