Currently working with Schneider Electric D-163 site area Karachi. My main domain is to watch and tackle the 11kV and 132kV switchgear. We perform different tests before marketing our product. Sometimes I perform commissioning and testing of these switch gear for our customers on site
Worked as field engineer in Riaz and Sons MEP contractors. During that time I worked mostly as a commissioning engineer. We also performed pre commissioning tests to check the reliability of the equipment. We also performed thermography for diagnosing hot spot through IR thermal imager.
To learn the basics of Power generation and to strengthen the knowledge given by the books
with the help of field work.Working under a supervisor and to be a part of a team which
allowed me to learn alot about teamwork .Was assigned to different departments for the
period of one week each .Performed multiple tasks .Learned to use Microsoft office
professionally at the facility .Monitored the power systems during one week in SCADA
division of the facility .
Performing general tasks at an electric supply substation and implementing all the
knowledge about electric power systems gathered in 4 years of study in the field.Learning
how to enhance functions of transformers installed at the facility while avoiding
faults .Making sure that the relay system installed is up to date and monitor the grid to make
sure there is no abnormality .in collaboration with the senior technical officer (STO).
I am a graduated and registered Electrical engineer with specialization in Power.
