Major Activities:-
* WHB - WASTE HEAT BOILER Replacement & Installation at Ammonia 5
* Civil Works, Hot Works, Confined Space Entry for miscellaneous works &
Radiography
* Mechanical Works & Commissioning activities
* Worked on the application of Centrifugal Gas Compressors to increase
Gas Pressure & transference of different gases from 2 spots in turbines at
the interstate pipelines where gas pressure is low & boosting is required for
turbines to work in optimal conditions
* Installation of SUPER HEATER
* Heavy Lifting Activities using Cranes upto 700 SWL
b) QVC SHUTDOWN (QATAR VINYL COMPANY):-
Maintenance Work at EDC/VCM & CHLORINE area:-
Major Activities:-
* Confined Space Entry for Hot Work at Storage Tank, Brine Tank
& Scrubber Area
* Confined Space at locations OXYREACTOR MH-2 & MH-4
* Insulation work of Boilers & Re-Installation of Boilers.
* Hydrojetting & Hydrotesting activities with proper PPE & Tools (Flexi
Lancers & Gun)
* Lifting activities of Spools & Railings.
c) QAFCO 6 SHUTDOWN (QATAR FERTILISER COMPANY): -
Major Activities:-
* WHB - WASTE HEAT BOILER Replacement & Installation at Ammonia 6
* Civil Works, Hot Works, Confined Space Entry for miscellaneous works &
Radiography
* Mechanical Works & Commissioning activities
* Installation of SUPER HEATER
* Heavy Lifting Activities using Cranes upto 700 SWL
* Worked on the application of Steam Turbine as per the Powerplant layout
provided by the Proponent
* Dealt with different facets of Impulse & Reaction Turbines & skill to control
the turbine in case of mishandling the Turbines where the Mechanical
Energy is converted into Electrical Energy.
* Acquired knowledge about different parts of the Steam Turbine like Boiler
Feed Pump (BFP), Boiler, Turbine, Generator & Condenser & its Safety
precautions in case the turbine is over fed with excess RPM where
COMPOUNDING method is used to control the Pressure & Velocity of

* The major parts of the Steam Turbine namely : Blades, Nozzle, Wheel &
Shaft are all in symmetrical alignment for the the Turbine to function as per
the designed principle.
