• Responsible for designing components and providing that information to the developer.
• Ensure that new technical requirements are properly integrated with existing processes.
• Plan a system flow from the ground up.
• Interact with internal users and customers to learn and document requirements that are then used to produce business requirements documents.
• Write technical requirements from a critical phase.
• Help programmers during system development, ex: provide use cases & business flowcharts
• Perform system testing.
• Acquire detailed knowledge of the Laserfiche software product suite and integrations with partners in order to design and communicate solutions for customers’ business problems.
• Provide technical consulting and training to the Laserfiche sales force as well as prospective clients.
• Answer Presales and technical questions via e-mail, calls and web presentations.
• Design and present targeted solutions based on explicitly and implicitly stated requirements.
• Develop and implement frequent technical training sessions both locally and regionally.
• Correct errors by making appropriate changes and then rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced.
• Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct.
• Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program.
• Write, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs, such as tracking inventory, storing or retrieving data, or controlling other equipment.
• Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes.
• Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
