Project:
The project consists of adding new flyover ramps, new collector-distributor lanes and other facilities to aid east-west travel along I-285 and north-south travel along SR 400. The project will improve 4.3 miles of I-285 and 6.2 miles along SR 400
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a team of Professional Engineers to provide construction solutions and technical support throughout the project within the design and production of bridges, walls, drainage systems and roadways.
- Providing design corrections or revisions that are time and cost efficient, conforming with quality standard
- Communicate with the DOT to agree on technical proposals of optimizations and/or solutions to site
conditions as needed to avoid any work interruptions.
- Delivering designs developed in-house or coordinated with 3rd-party consultants for temporary & permanent works to facilitate construction and project completion within budget and schedule
Current Project: Abi Bakr As Siddiq Road Development:
Development of 12-kilometer road, which includes 3 bridges and an underpass - supplying all
necessary services (potable water, drainage, sewerage and irrigation system, in addition to
communication, lighting. electrical and power services).
Responsibilities include:
o Analysis of various design disciplines and development of design solutions along the project.
o Development of detailed shop drawings within:
Civil Works/Detours
Structures (concrete and
reinforcement details)
Utilities/relocations
Coordination
o Development of storm water drainage network and discharge solutions.
o Coordinating with subcontractors regarding designs of services, assuring standards and
contract requirement compliancy.
Trinity Uptown - Urban Lake District Development, Fort Worth, TX Fall 2012 (Academic Senior Design Project)
• Acted as project manager/leader of a team to deliver a project design report to the TRVA Review
Committee
• Conducted traffic analyses which were used in designing a thoroughfare along with required public
utilities such as water, sanitary sewer and fire protection
• Delivered a geotechnical design, and structural design of a 3-story parking garage structure
• Established project schedule and duration as well as a detailed project cost estimate
• Achieved a project plan and design that is LEED certifiable, ADA compliant, and approved by the
