• Managing the Yemen Continuous Learning and Evaluation (YCLE) project’s third-party monitoring
of four education and health USAID-funded development activities implemented in Yemen
• Coordinating with implementing partners to receive up-to-date implementation plans, designing
third-party monitoring tools, distributing the work among the YCLE team, drafting and reviewing
reports, and participating in debrief meetings with the partners

ensure compliance with requirements and conditions of donors and of UNICEF on donor report
submissions in the Country Office.
• In collaborated with colleagues in the UNCICEF Headquarters, provides oversight, technical
support and guidance to the country office regarding contribution management and reporting
issues.
• Nearly 100 donor and emergency situation reports on the Syria and COVID-19 crises were
delivered on-time, while also addressing donors’ ad hoc requests and inquiries.

• Managed and audited over ten internal monitoring databases that were used to update the project’s dashboard on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Designed and oversaw the implementation of multiple evaluation studies and ensured that all research adheres to Abt Associates’ Institutional Review Board requirements
• Conducted data analysis using Stata and drafted multiple research reports, including three randomized controlled trials with support from Abt Associates’ headquarters
• Assisted the project through an audit by the Office of the Inspector General, a USAID commissioned program evaluation and multiple Data Quality Assurance procedures
• Ensured that all evaluation studies were in compliance with Abt’s Institutional Review Board’s policies
• Established a monitoring and evaluation log frame with specific monitoring and evaluation input, output and outcome indicators for all program components

I attained a Masters in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (JHSPH) in 2010, where I was awarded the Global Health Scholarship and successfully completed the Health in Crisis and Humanitarian Assistance concentration. This concentration allotted me with the competencies and skills required to develop public health care responses to refugees/displaced person; to measure crisis-related indicators; to plan for food, water and sanitation provisions for refugees/displaced populations in adherence with SPHERE standards; and to monitor and evaluate such efforts. Additionally, this training provided me with the biostatistical and epidemiological skills necessary to properly assess situations and evaluate programmatic initiatives. I am also experienced in qualitative research methods, particularly from an ethnographic perspective
