This concentration allotted me with the competencies and skills required to develop public health care responses to refugees/displaced person; to measure crisis-related indicators; to plan for food, water and sanitation provisions for refugees/displaced populations in adherence with SPHERE standards; and to monitor and evaluate such efforts. Additionally, this training provided me with the biostatistical and epidemiological skills necessary to properly assess situations and evaluate programmatic initiatives. I am also experienced in qualitative research methods, particularly from an ethnographic perspective
