Technical Workshop
• All aspects of testing, diagnosing, repairing, servicing, warranty and recalls, whilst adhering to a high level of workmanship and VW brand standards.
• Performed the repair of engines, transmissions, suspensions and steering, fuel and ignition CNG and diesel), electrical systems, brakes, and HVAC systems in accordance with manufacturer’s specification
• Perform inspection and identified and diagnosed any underlying issues and causes of malfunction.
• Assist customers with the upkeep of service work to ensure compliance with service agreements.
• Guidance and feedback provided via CITNOW VW video after sales.
• Uphold paper-flow procedures requiring the documentation of correct mileage, hours, warranties and core parts. PDI on new vehicles.
• In-house training provided by lead technicians and VW technical/management courses regularly attended. In-depth knowledge and understanding of UK commercial vehicle safety Laws.
• Regularly attend the VW national centre for training and new specification briefs, e.g. hybrid vehicles, electric vehicles, components, new developments etc

Workshop supervisor, working to assist in the day to day multiple operations of the centre, including:
• Fully responsible for the maintenance and repair of 35 fleet buses.
• MOT testing: conducting MOT tests on class 4 and 7 vehicles. Annually conducting an average of 6000 MOTS.
• Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: maintaining and repairing of customer vehicles e.g. Clutches, Suspension, Brakes, Replacing engine components, mot repairs, vehicle break downs and main servicing.
• General administration: booking MOT tests and vehicle maintenance work into centre schedules, assisting in coordination of fleet operations, completing and filing all safety documents, processing payments & invoices.
• General Customer Service: Responding to phone, email and face to face enquiries at centre, offering an efficient, positive and professional service.
