• Provide technical support to Project Management in resolving problems concerning inspection methods and procedures for completing work within the scope and intent of applicable codes and standards.
• Make design review for Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines.
• Participate in assessment group for Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines to assess the EPCCs compliance with SADARA & other applicable standards including scope of work.
• Keep current of the latest developments in inspection standards, codes, practices, procedures, methods and inspection equipment, and assure that all work is completed according to all applicable codes and standards.
• Review/evaluate contractor’s quality assurance/quality control systems, as necessary, and ensure Inspection Records (hard copy and electronic databases) are compiled and maintained.
• Perform root cause analysis, assessments, and recommend short and/or long-term remedies and issue NCR if required.
• Make frequent visits to construction sites to resolve inspection related problems, or appraise adequacy of inspection services provided.
• Ensure Implementation of SADARA Standards by all EPCs.
• Submit PQI inputs and weekly reports to Quality Unit Lead.
• Evaluate the performances of EPCs QA/QC Supervisors/Inspectors and report to Quality Unit Lead.
• Attend Weekly Quality meetings to discuss quality concerns with EPC & Subcontractors.
• Perform quality monitoring for all stages of construction and pre-commissioning up to final acceptance, to ensure compliance with applicable standards and project specifications as per SADARA Standards and other international Standards.
• Review of E & I documents and Splicer qualifications etc.
• Analysis of process improvement.
• Training of Saudi engineers to work as SADARA/Aramco inspectors.
• Review of E & I pre-commissioning activities.
• Inspection of all E & I equipment/Instruments (starting from receiving inspection to final Installation).
• Participate in Induction Trainings, Orientations, Workshops & Safety Training Programs and Meetings
• Provide Quality Assurance and Control Mechanisms to ensure that the project requirements have been complied with.
• Perform analysis of project quality and conduct focus assessments to identify and resolve site issues by providing possible solutions.
• Ensure Contractors compliance with Company's Mandatory Documents.
• Conduct pre-commissioning inspection for all E & I activities
• Audit / Review / witness of activities such as Instrument Calibration etc.
• Review, validate and/or Approve Project Quality documents and Contractor Quality control Personnel.
• Design review of equipment design specification and drawing as per relevant SADARA, IEC, NEC, IEEE, ISA, and API.
• Provide technical support to Projects Management Team (PMT)
• Supervise all aspects of inspection disciplines and give work direction to all inspection personnel in the assigned groups while working as a Quality Team Leader.

• Help management to evaluate and ensure that adequately trained and certified personnel are available to meet the workload across the SATORP packages.
• Coordinate/Lead weekly communication meeting for all the Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecommunication Inspectors of all the SATORP packages.
• Make 60%, 90% design review for Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines.
• Participate in assessment group for Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines to assess the EPCCs compliance with JERES & other applicable standards including scope of work.

• Arrange logistics for the inspectors i.e. Aramco Id., Vehicle Sticker, Temporary access etc.

• Provide technical support on Construction Projects through performance of direct Point-Inspections in the Field.etc.
Key Deliverables:
• Regularly report to the corporate QA/QC Manager about the project QA/QC activities.
• Prepare Project Quality Plan, Quality Control Procedures, Method statements, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) in accordance with latest Industrial Standards such as NEC, IES, BS, IEEE, ASTE, Saudi ARAMCO Standards and SAEP-1023 & ISO-900.
• Review of QA/QC documents associated with Quality Records, Test Records, and Pre-commissioning & Commissioning
• Arranging of Material Receiving Inspection, Factory Acceptance Test for Equipment Purchased,
• Preparing of Material Receiving Report/ Material Damage Report and Quarantine the Rejected Material from Site,
• Perform Quality internal and supplier Audit to ensure that the QMS requirements are understood and implemented throughout the entire duration of the Project.
• Arrange 3rd Party Audit for 15% and 60% of the project completion phases.
• Made frequent visits to the construction sites to resolve inspection related problems, or appraise adequacy of inspection services provided.
• Ensure that all the Quality personnel are suitably trained and conversant with Quality Management System.
• Ensure that all the Quality personnel are well conversant with their area of Inspection speciality.
• Preparing of QA/QC documents prior to signing off Mechanical Completion Certificate (MCC) and prior to handover of equipment
• Supervise the submission of As-Built and QC documentation upon completion of the processes / project.

• Supervision of Subcontractor’s works, review and checks related to technical submittals, drawings and procedures and schedule compliance.
• Erection, pre-commissioning and commissioning of. 13.8 KV Substations, consisting of 13.8 KV MV switchgears, C&R panel, DC & AC UPS and MCCs.
• Responsible for design, engineering, procurement and construction work carried out for different Projects.
• Technical bid evaluations of HV and LV switchgears which included 22MVA transformers, 13.8Kv Switchgear, 3000A LV Main Distribution Boards, Panel Boards, LV and HV cables and associated accessories
• Design and development of 13.8 kV substations.
• Laying of approximately 60 KM of HV cables and 150 KM of LV cables.
• Supervision of Subcontractors’ electrical works, review and checks related to technical submittals, drawings and procedures and schedule compliance.
• Responsible for installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning and testing of all the substations equipment
• Preparation of pre-commissioning & commissioning checklists and punchlists upon inspection for ensuring scope compliance.
• Installation and Commissioning of 1750 KVA DG Generators.
• Preparation of MOM, Daily, Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports.
• Helping the project coordinator with day-to-day correspondence with the client and subcontractors at the site.
• Implementation of Document Control Procedure at the site office.
• Interfacing between the Clients and the Subcontractors to solve the day-to-day site issues.
