Power system studies
•Power evacuation study for 1400 MW wind generation, in Kutch region of India. The study included steady state & dynamic stability analysis for the site.
•Energy audit for BESCOM, Bengaluru. This included energy loss calculation for LV & MV feeders, economic analysis for viable solution and implementation.
•Long term, medium term & short term transmission planning for OPTCL which included load forecast, generation forecast, network development & implementation. The study included steady state & dynamic modelling of 765/400/220/132/33 kV network of OPTCL and carrying out load flow, short circuit & transient stability study. The system consisted of 250 sub-stations, Generation of 20, 000 MW and load of 6500 MW. The sub-station and lines were planned in year wise manner for 10 years keeping in view generation and load growth.
•Development of HVDC transmission system model for bulk power transfer between different regions India.
•Power Evacuation, Short Circuit, Transient Stability, Motor Starting & Relay Coordination studies for Nav-Bharat Ferro Alloy & Power Plant comprising of 2X60 MW Generators & 5 MTPA Ferro alloys unit.
•Power Evacuation, Short Circuit, Transient Stability, Motor Starting & Relay Coordination studies for Odisha Power Generation Corporation Limited Power Plant comprising of 2X210 MW Generators.
•Grid Connectivity, Short Circuit and Transient Stability studies for various Power & Aluminum, Steel and Ferro alloy plants Vis. GMR (3X350 MW IPP), Aarti Steel (2X500 MW + 2X60 MW + 5 MTPA Steel Plant), Ind- Barath (3X350 MW IPP), JR power (3X660 MW IPP), JSPL (6X185 MW + 6X660 MW + 12 MTPA Steel Plant), Bhubaneswar power projects (2X67.5 MW IPP), Vedanta Aluminum Limited (9X120 MW).
