Essence of Role/Key Accountabilities:
Promote and sell JOTUN Marine & Protective products to existing as well as new
potential distributors / customers by all available tools and interpersonal
relationships, participate in all marketing activities, Conferences & training
programs enabling to enrich the Job Requirements.
Plan and suggest where we can add new distributors to have a better geographical
and business coverage.
Achieve the net sales budget by maintaining the required sales figures, Gross
Margin and DSO.
Obtain market intelligences / information with regard to market trends, needs,
competition and utilize all these data in strengthening JOTUN position in the market.
Participate and present progress at sales meetings.
Co-operate with Customer Service, Laboratory as well as all company different
functions to ensure optimum and high quality products and services delivered to
customers.
Close follow up on Invoicing and prompt collection to ensure customer payment
is received within agreed terms of the days outstanding and periodically revise
statements of accounts of each of the assigned customers.
Handling of technical complains in coordination with tech. staff.
Identify customer needs through close follow ups and regular visits & meetings &
create customer awareness by technical discussions & visits.
Ensure all customers data and other business interactions (data basis - quotations -
complaints…etc.) are registered in the JOTUN approved systems ( CRM ).
