This project entailed construction of a new concrete bridge to accommodate 14 lanes ( Seven lanes on either side) across Dubai creek, parallel to the existing bridge, to handle the ever growing traffic on a major arterial road. The overall length the bridge is 520 m with an overall width of 35.4m. The Works also included the construction of the approach embankments, roads works up to the tie -ins to the existing roads, associated roads features, utility works and demolition of the existing bridge.
