KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Lead supply chain cost reviews with logistics operations teams and fulfillment groups.
•Logistics cost data analysis, identifying key cost drivers by product, by lane, by mode across international freight, warehousing and domestic distribution.
•Champion supply chain projects being initiated for cost savings / cost avoidance. Liaison with different functional groups/ logistics cost stake holders and drive cost savings.
•Modeling for freight, warehousing and duties on periodic basis.
•Supervises a team of Logistics Assistants, Trains and mentors new Logistics Assistants.
•Oversees the issuing / receiving processes to ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures SOP) are adhered to Carries out inventory management to ensure that all supplies are available and / or accounted for, including controlled items and cartridges.
•Carries out all reporting procedures including operational and administrative reporting attends to incidents in Warehouse / Logistics area, and carries out reporting / management of such incidents to the best of his ability.
