Responsibilities:

 Working on BO 4.1, 4.0 and 3.1 version, windows and UNIX OS
 Creation of users and providing access level security.
 Application and Folder security based on user access level.
 Moving reports and universe via promotion management tool and import wizard
 Splitting of APS service as per requirement.
 Changing the parameter value in service properties.
 Increasing the session time out of tomcat.
 Adding, removing license key.
 Taking daily, weekly and monthly backups of CMS and FRS.
 Monitoring of backups via Control-M jobs.
 Checking the BO service in CMC of Production, Development, and Testing servers for any failures
 Creation of universe connection and changing it as per requirement.
 Scheduling and publication of report.
 Use of query builder, for extracting information as per requirement.


Part of successful migration of current SAP BO 4.1 small users and objects in to new SAP BO 4.1.
 New Installation of BO 4.1 on windows server 2012R2 with Dev and Prod single stand alone server.
 Configuration and sizing of BO for optimal performance.
 Installation and Connection of Oracle Database to BO
 Creation of BIAR form current BO environment inclusive of Users, Reports, Universe, Folders, Personal Folders and Inbox.
 Moving the LCMBIAR from current to new BO server.
 Testing of new reports and connection in new environment.
Extra Knowledge SAP BO perspective:
 Knowledge of UMT tool, RDT tool.
 Done installation of BO 3.1 and 4.1 on sandbox.
 Creation of Web Intelligence report.
 Knowledge of UMT tool, RDT tool
 Creation of UNV and UNX universe from UDT and IDT.



Software and Tools used:

 Control-M: Monitoring of jobs for success or failure. Checking the job logs and sysout for any failure and take necessary action.
 ITIL, Service Now - Ticketing tool for working SRM, PBI, Incident, and Change.
 HPOV- Monitoring tool to check failure of any issue related to server or application
