Project Management
•Handling end to end projects encompassing planning, estimation, scope definition, finalization of techno-commercial aspects and laying down of quality standards.
•Providing engineering services for various civil engineering projects.
•Implementing international civil structural engineering codes (ASTM and other international standards standards) for construction of industrial structures, power and desalination projects, substations, roads, OHL works architectural constructions, commercial buildings, underground cabling, outer works, etc.
•Driving a team of multi-disciplinary professionals and liaising with the client at all stages of the project for securing approvals, finalization of specifications, reporting progress and final handover.
Site Management
•Participating in site selection activities, assessment of required and existing infrastructure, including development of an overall civil infrastructure design, layouts for construction of roads, earthworks, water supply, drainage systems, etc. Supervising the execution of mechanical and electrical works on the site.
•Attending site meetings and maintaining minutes of meetings as per organizational specifications.
•Preparing and approving detailed construction method statements, work preparation, equipment, planning & temporary works preparation for new projects, and maintaining coordination with contracting firms handling large, highly mechanized projects.
•Approving materials delivered by the suppliers, shop drawings, and resolving any technical snags.
•Guiding and supporting maintenance and inspection staff, operating units and teams for handling civil, electrical, local statutory bodies, architects, and process technologists to troubleshoot customer issues.
Contract Management
•Coordinating among consultants, contractors and clients as well as preparing tender documents/ specifications & finalization of requirements, estimates & BOQ.
•Evaluating & executing contracting works as well as handling negotiation, award and review of contracts as per contract regimes. Interpreting contractual obligations/ rights.
•Preparing FIDIC based contract documents for invitation of bids for civil work, EPC contracts.
Quality Assurance/ Compliance
•Devising and implementing processes, in line with organizational standards and client specifications.
•Checking and monitoring material quality received from vendors/ suppliers to ensure tough construction.
•Maintaining records of tests, monitoring sub-contractors’ execution of the work, and ensuring material stocks are sufficient to meet requirements.
•Ensuring quality execution and correct elevation of foundations and other structures.
•Adhering to international quality standards and auditing processes from time to time to ensure compliance.

> 400kV OHL connection for new Ruwais Grid Station to new Mirfa GIS
•One double circuit 400 KV OHL from Gantry at Ruwais 400 kV Grid Station to Gantry at new Mirfa 400 kV Grid Station for a length of approximately 80 kilometre.
> Major Projects completed:
> 400 kV OHL connection to new 400/132/33 kV Ajman Grid station
> One Quad circuit 400 KV OHL from Gantry at Ajman grid station to junction point in Ras Al khaimah
> 400kV OHL connection for new 400/220 kV Ruwais Grid Station to be constructed in three lots
> One Quad circuit 400 KV OHL from Gantry at Shuweihat 400 kV Grid Station to Gantry at new Ruwais 400 kV Grid Station.
•GCC Interconnection 400 kV OHL from Shuweihat substation to Sila grid Station
•One double circuit 400 KV OHL approximately 125 K.M from Gantry at Shuweihat 400 kV Grid Station to Gantry at new Sila 400 kV Grid Station on the western emirate of ABUDHABI
•Supply and Installation of 33/11 kV primary substation at ICAD II and modification works.
•New 400/132 kV Cable connections at Fujairah Power Plant, Qidfa, a project of TRANSCO, Abu Dhabi, a project executed inside the existing power plants in Qidfa Fujairah.
•It entails supply, delivery, construction, erection, commissioning and handing over of cable circuits of different voltages laid; it was slated to be completed within Stage I and II of Power Plant.
•400/220 kV Interconnection Al Ain South West Overhead line works for ADWEA
•The line with 187 tower locations connects the 400/220 kV grid station at Alain south west to the existing 400 kV OHL Shahama East-Mirfa at Tower no.80 of the existing OHL.
•The scope also includes connection of 220 kV grid station at Alain southwest to existing substations and junction points inside Alain Municipality.
•Grid Interconnection Shuweihat 1.Stage 400 kV OHL works Shuweihat-Mirfa for ADWEA
•The line with 197 tower locations connects the 400/220 kV grid station at Shuweihat power station to the existing 400 kV OHL at Mirfa junction point.
•Expansion of 220/33kV network in Dhabiya area for Interconnection with ADCO lot.2 OHL works a project for ADWEA.
•Security of Electric power supply and upgrading of the network for presidential palaces and hospitals, Stage-III, Phase-III a project of ADWEA.
•New 132/11 kV substations and associated 132 kV cable connections, Lot.1, 132 kV substation E.14 and W.47 Abu Dhabi, a project of Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority.
Role of Total Tractebel: EPC contractor for the above project for the client, GTTPC.
Major Projects:
•Construction of Independent Water and Power projects, Taweelah A1, Abu Dhabi. The plant upon completion of rehabilitation and refurbishment works and on completion of extended plant construction collectively produces 1350 mega watts of electricity and 84 MGPD of product water.
Responsibilities:
•Managing works on the water project including 14 units of MED plant each 3.77 MGPD of product water, four nos. of potable water storage tanks of 11 MIG each CO2 and lime treatment plant, sea water pumping station to house 12 nos. sea water pumps, hypo chlorination system, chemical preparation structures, buried and above ground GRP pipes for sea water, brine reject and distillate water, infrastructures such as roads and plant drainage works, electrical control buildings, yard hydrant works etc.
•Rehabilitating existing MSF units as part of completion of the water project.
•Supervising activities for the power project involving foundations for 5 new gas turbines, 5 new heat recovery steam generators, 3 new steam turbines, electrical control buildings, new transformers for gas turbines, steam turbines and control buidings, local control buildings, boiler house, pipe rack modules, gas reducuing stations, pipe/cable trenches 8500 m3 capacity fuel tank, external works such as plant main roads and internal access roads, drainage works, yard hydrant works etc apart from the rehabilitation of existing gas turbines and boilers.
•Carrying out finishing works including floor protective paint, false floor and false ceiling works for the control rooms and aluminum roof and wall cladding works for the sea water pumping station, electrical control buildings, local control buildings and steam turbine housing system
Major Projects:
•Construction of a Desalination plant and Water distribution network in Northern Emirates namely Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, for Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA), Dubai.
Responsibilities
•Providing consultancy services for the project, producing 3 MGPD of water each site and distributing the product water to the towns with existing network facilities using storage and buffer tanks, laying transmission lines between the newly constructed pumping stations.
•Handling the installation & commissioning of 1200 mm dia GRP offshore pipelines, 1500 mm dia GRP onshore pipelines, 800 mm dia GRP and Ductile Iron pipe product water line, 800 mm dia Asbestos Cement transmission pipelines, Sea water pumphouse, Transfer and Distribution pumphouses, Boiler and Desalination foundation structures, Piperack foundations, 4 MIG concrete storage tanks, 2 MIG buffer tanks, Control buildings Chemical treatment buildings, Structural steel works, Plumbing and Drainage works Grouting of steel structure foundations, yard fire hydrant works, Transformer compounds.
•Administering carrying out of external works such as road works, pavement works, street lighting, soft landscaping works and reinstatement works.
•Supervising the completion of various plant structures from foundation stage to completion, inclusive of finishing works. Handing over of the project to the client

Responsibilities
•Supervision of construction of:
•Piled and raft foundations, insulated blockwork masonry, access flooring, granite and ceramic flooring, granite and stainless steel wall cladding, solid core joinery works, extruded aluminium works, and structural steel works as well as curtain wall works.
•False ceiling works such as gypsum tiles, mineral fibre ceiling aluminium and steel tiles, open cell tiles, plumbing and drainage works, epoxy paint systems for floors, warehouses and external finishes.
•Installation of cash and sales counters, panoramic and service lifts, revolving doors, sliding entrance doors window cleaning equipment, precast GRC mashrabia, cast aluminium logo, sign board and road barriers
Major Projects
•Construction of Six power and Six desalination units for Taweelah power and desalination stage-B, a project of Water and Electricity Department, Abu Dhabi. The plant produces 72 MGPD of water and 750 MW of electricity upon commissioning.

•Supervision of construction of:
•Various industrial structures such as desalination units boilers and turbine house foundations, seawater and town water pumping stations foundations for storage tanks, mineralization tanks, piperack foundations, cable trenches discharge culverts, outfall structures.
•Administration building, chemical treatment buildings switch gear buildings, control building, fuel oil pump house, gas reducing station retaining wall, structural steel works, grouting of static and dynamic loaded foundations and laying of different kinds of pipelines

•Construction of Water injection and Power project for Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil operations at Habshan, Abu Dhabi.
