System administrator engineer (support and administrator Engineer):
1) Establish documentation and logging procedures.
•Update operations, maintenance documentation and brief concerned staff.
2) Ensure stability of the various platforms in the unit
•Check the system hardware and running process status.
•Escalate system deficiencies and hardware problems to suppliers
3) Monitor security system and set alarms in case of breaks or illegal access
4) Coordinate with System and Database administrator on administration tasks and upgrade
•Discuss planned activities
•Set plan for system upgrade
5) Perform analysis and capacity planning
•Avoid problems by analysis of the system before reaching saturation.
6) Promote automation
•Create and implement scripts
7) Create filing system and provide disk space allocation
•Keep the system running smoothly by providing all the spaces needed.
8) Plan systems backup
•Maintain system availability by performing periodic monthly and weekly backup and saving backup copies offsite.
•Use a very secure safe cabinet.
9) Install new releases and upgrades
•Update the system and eliminate old bugs
10) Create virtual machines on VMWare, under ESX and vmotion systems, create virtual machine on OVM
