DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Adequate medical assessment and history is taken in collaboration with other members of the healthcare providers such as the dietician or the physician
• Day-to-day patient interaction
• Vital signs checking (changes and alterations documented)
• Administration of medications and treatments (as pre ordered by physician)
• Changes dressings, bandages and contraptions as prescribed
• Diet supervision and monitoring (with considerations to dietician advise and medical condition)
• Providing or assisting patient in self-care
o Dental care needs
o Bathing needs
o Elimination
o Other self-care needs (may involve hair and nail care)
• Providing range of motion exercises (may be passive or active depending on the condition)
• If bed-ridden, an assertive plan to prevent bed sores, contractures and muscle wasting is to be provided
• When alterations are observed, treatments and remedies are to be performed accordingly
• Documentation of patient’s condition and pointing out significant changes, to be reported to the physician and to the families
• In case of emergency situations, application of independent emergency procedures is recommended
• Maintains optimum health and well-being of the patient
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To liaise with the study Project Management and Logistics departments to ensure all information is available to allow accurate set-up of 3rd party depots. Work with depots to provide accurate inventory and shipping reporting to our clients. To act as a subject matter expert on all depot related issues for both internal and external clients. To manage and control the receipt of all depots invoicing to ensure monthly invoicing is received and accurately passed to the respective business line finance site personnel. Work in conjunction with accounts payable when required to resolve any depot payment inquiries.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
To support and manage depot related activities and provide reporting to internal and external clients
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To generate and conclude Depot Work Instructions as per requirements received from the Project Management and Logistics departments.
• The job holder is responsible for day to day decisions surrounding the depot set-up process including prioritization of which depots should be set-up first for which studies based on study timelines
• Depot subject matter expert to support multiple facilities
• To provide expert support to customers via meetings and visits.
• To liaise with 3rd party depots and supply inventory reports where/when required by the client
• To liaise with 3rd party depots on any client/service complaints
• To work in conjunction with Depot Manager to effectively communicates preferred depot in each geographic area
• To effectively manage study close out of studies at each sub-contracted 3rd party depot
• To effectively manage the depot invoice receipt process to ensure all depot invoices are received with appropriate action taken
• To occasionally liaise with Accounts Payable to ensure resolution on depot invoice payments
• Participate in depot audit activities.
• Review invoices for payment.
• Additional tasks assigned by depot management team.
• Report out and analyze depot metrics
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles, such as trailer trucks and heavy equipment.
• Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
• Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints.
• Serve as contact persons for all workers within assigned territories.
• Implement schedule and policy changes.
• Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
GENERAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Answers customer/client requests or inquiries concerning services, products, billing, equipment, claims, and reports problem areas
• May be required to work in one or multiple queues/skill sets over various customer contact channels
• Responsible for improving customer retention through programs and service provided to the customer
• Utilizes mechanized systems to initiate and complete service orders and handle customer requests
• Continually maintain working knowledge of all company products, services and promotions
• Make recommendations according to customer's needs on features, accessories, upgrades and rate plans
• Utilize operational systems to process purchases of AT&T products and services; i.e. collections, payments for Wireless bills and accessories.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Administer system functions on all opening, closing, and balancing procedures to according to finance guidelines
• Sell and provision wireless services, products, features, equipment and accessories
• Responsible for credit/inbound and outbound collections, activations, customer service, E-services, revenue, fraud, business and technical/roaming support inquiries, and other duties.
This program focuses on managing both individuals and population-based cohorts within an acute care hospital or medical center. Conceptually, the curriculum has been developed according to the principles of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention; moving from a systems, population-based approach, to a cohort-based or unit-based perspective, and culminating with an intense focus on the individual-level of care. Graduates of the program will be well-prepared to deal with the demands of the present day high acuity patient populations and sophisticated technological environments. The program provides an B.S. degree with a major in Nursing and eligibility to take the National Licensing Examination (NLE) to be licensed as a registered nurse (R.N.) after completion of the program. Students successfully completing the B.S. degree also acquire an educational foundation for entry into the master's program that prepares nurses for clinical practice for the hospital or advanced practice nurses for roles as nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, and administrators in primary and acute care. After completing the B.S. program, graduates are able to: Select, evaluate and apply, in hospital and a variety of other settings, basic and advanced theoretical knowledge of core concepts including advanced leadership and health care systems concepts to the nursing process in order to deliver health care to clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Analyze health problems at a unit, aggregate (community) and systems level, and develop nursing interventions that balance the health needs at the unit and cohort levels. Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills with clients, research participants, other health professionals, colleagues, and policy makers. Evaluate existing nursing and health care systems research, apply findings to advance nursing practice, and participate in the development of new knowledge. Demonstrate leadership and system skills and critical thinking, which contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of nursing and health care. Practice hospital- and community-based nursing based on the principles of ethics and law. Participate in professional and community organizations and/or interest groups relevant to health care delivery and modify nursing standards and practices in keeping with current trends.
The Associate in Health Science Education program (AHSE) provides knowledge and skills on the study of physical, biological, social science and humanities associated with the environment. The program aims to produce graduates who are competent in providing primary health care and in dealing with the psycho-social-cultural being of patients. The program is also used as a preparation course for students who would like to pursue careers in nursing and take up Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
