Role: Led an 8 members Department (architect, engineers, draftsmen) to complete the Schematic and Design Development phases. Identified / Improved design deficiencies; prepared architectural proposals & added new areas; incorporated the Hotel Operator’s requirements; revised the Infrastructure: roads, retaining walls & green areas; liaised / coordinated with multidisciplinary engineering & Consultants e.g. Wilson Associates, Humble Arnold Associates, Cracknell, MBLD; short-listed new Consultants & created design briefs; revised the Landscape & Lighting design; created a new Plant Room; coordinated/attended offshore meetings; added new parking entrances, created a separated service road access, enhanced guests’ vertical circulation, service links & car flow in parking areas; interacted with Starwood and Hyatt design teams; conducted site visits/inspections; coordinated with PM; responded RFIs; recruited new staff; reported to Executive Director.
Own architectural practice involved in villas and residential buildings design
Designed two 550m2 villas, one 250m2 villa extension and a 30 apartments building of 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms of 3, 500m2
Directed a 5 engineers QA testing team in Bolivia for all products. Reporting to CTO and CEO for nubisio, Inc located in the USA.
Responsible for the Architectural / Master Plan design and development from Concept to Execution; directed Jr architects/draftsmen design teams of up to 14 members, reported to Principal Architect/owner; focused in client demands; interpreted/applied Project Briefs and Building Codes; reviewed/checked/ensured design shop-work quality, accuracy and completeness; reviewed/coordinated Architecture/Engineering and local/abroad Consultants’ submittals; reviewed BOQs documentation; oversaw CAD Production; maintained permanent coordination with site; contacted suppliers; mentored and supervised architectural staff for the following projects:
• Playa Comején. San Carlos Panamá, 2012
Plot: 295.000m2. Built area: 60, 000m2. 510 housing units complex including 415 apartments and 95 villas. Designed and developed the Master Plan, Town Center, Beach Club, apartment buildings and villa types.
• Nine Dragons. Pinghu, Zhejiang Province, China 2007, 2010, 2011
Master plot: 6, 000, 000m2 divided in various projects, the following were assigned to me:
- Sandy Bay. Plot: 161.400m2
o 2007. Designed & Master Planned a 165, 000m2 1, 130 housing units + commercial areas complex dispersed in 3 Apartments zones, besides 4 restaurants, a chapel and an administration building.
o 2011. Designed a 5, 500m2 Reception Club. Reduced the project to 834 housing units.
- Iconic, 2010. Area: 20, 450m2. Designed a new Commercial Center to be built over sea water
- Hill Top, 2010. Plot: 49.000m2. Developed a 148 Apartments complex Master Plan.
- Bellagio, 2010. Designed 2 independent buildings for restaurants.
• Melvin Art Villa. Jimo, Qingdao, Guangzhou, China 2008, 2010, 2011
Plot: 550, 000m2. Built: 300, 000m2. Developed 250, 000m2 of the Master Plan and designed the architecture for: Tennis Club, SPA, Club House, Restaurants & Bars wooden constructions, main gates, villas/apartments schematic, paving details.
• Les Collines de Cabo. Tetuan, Morocco, 2010
Housing complex. Developed the Master Plan for 22 apartment buildings, 40 town-houses and a Commercial area.
• Salam Resort & SPA, Yiti, Oman, 2008
Designed a 30 luxury villas Master Plan and the villa types Concept between 700-1, 000m2 planned to be sold at 20M USD each.
Developer: Sama Dubai. Total scope: 1, 000 apartments, 720 town-houses, 400 villas and a hotel in Omani architecture style.

Looking after the Concept design of a 5, 000m2 built area Town Center + Apartments zones.
• The Ritz-Carlton Abama, Golf Resort & SPA, Tenerife, Spain (2000 - 2008)
Plot: 1, 400, 000m2. Cost: 375M €. Developed the Master Plan, designed the Architectural projects, coordinated with Engineering, Consultants, site, and reviewed BOQs for the following:
-SPA: € 2M cost. Designed 2.800m2 Interior Architecture

-El Mirador Restaurant
-Bungalows zone: 13 buildings with 116 standard rooms, 32 suites and exteriors with 3 pools
