All the databases running in HP ux/Sun Solaris and database type varies from data warehousing/data mart and oltp systems. Primary responsibilities include but not limited to installing, maintaining RAC/Non RAC databases, analyzing and troubleshooting performance issues related to RAC production systems. Designing and maintaining database structure in Erwin data modeler and migration of these changes to development/test and production environments and documenting them. Execution of environment refreshes with data pump/ exp/ production to test/qa/dev environments, doing database clones with RMAN, initiating, coordinating and executing 9i to 10g database upgrades and patching and providing 24/7 pager support to production databases for any issues.
