Key Assignments and Responsibilities:
▪ Constructing and evaluating MIS reports and monitoring financial performance via revenue, cost
rationalisation measures and profitability. Supervise and motivate MIS team to work collectively and efficiently.
▪ Consolidating monthly financial results for top management reporting and analysis.
▪ Reporting on historical and forecasted financial trends and implications.
▪ Preparation of yearly and half yearly financial statements as per accepted GAAP and IFRS.
▪ Liaising with external auditors during the entire process of audit from developing the audit plan to delivering key reports.
▪ Involved in the successful implementation of VAT in the organisation. This includes development of plan for updating systems, testing and compliance.
- Performing transaction based TDS compliance audit by extracting and analysing reports from SAP to ensure correct application of TDS based on the nature of payments.
- Performing report based GST audit to ensure correct mapping of GST rates to respective goods and services in SAP and prevent compliance issues in GST returns.
- Understanding the process and planning the internal audit procedures based on control assessment for activities such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger.
- Conducting Compliance Assessments for various operations, report findings and provide support to the Process in implementing measures for achieving compliance.
- Responsible for risk review of the activities during transition of the process.
- Assisted in Documentation of SOP for the Process as well as performed design & operating effectiveness review as per the audit procedures and report progress to client.
Key Responsibilities:
▪ Maintaining books as per the laid down accounting standards with high amount of accuracy to avoid any fraud
and manipulation.
▪ Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, accounts receivable, accounts
payable, petty cash, cash management, and cash budget.
▪ Ensure processing and release of payments after verifying the advances against POs, computing TDS and
deducting TDS.
▪ Finalization of Balance Sheet for the financial year and completion of Statutory Audit as per the requirement
of Income Tax Act, MVAT Act is done as per laid down timeline
- Compilation and submission of various financial and statistical returns such as DSB-I, DSB-III, RBS, Form-IX to the Reserve Bank of India.
- Preparing MIS, reports for financial and regulatory reporting.
- Reviewing products and processes in relation to financial accounting followed by the Bank.
- Involved in team of CA’s for finalizing accounting policies and providing accounting guidance on various products and services across the Bank and its branches.
- Releasing funds to the Bank’s Branches which were lying in Corporate Office Account with regards to revalidation of expired Demand Drafts and Pay Orders after proper checks and verification.
