• Experience in designing (from conceptual to detailed) electrical systems for residential, commercial and institutional facilities is desirable in the following areas:
• Medium and low voltage power systems one-line diagram and electrical rooms equipment layout.
• Preparation of Small power and Lighting drawings.
• Lighting systems calculations on Dialux EVO by importing Revit IFC Files, AutoCAD files etc.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Revit MEP design for drafting and modelling independently.
• Proficient in working with Navisworks.
• Underground and exposed conduit and cable tray runs.
• Performing calculations on electrical softwares such as Ecodial, Simaris, Alfaline, ABB Docwin.
• Preparing design reports using Adobe indesign software.
• Calculations for demand load estimates, for sizing major equipment and circuits and selective protection coordination.
• Conceptual design of Low current systems such as Fire Alarm System, Security systems, ICT Systems, Audio-Video Systems, Lighting control system, Central battery systems necessary for building projects.
• Application of NFPA, NEC, CIBSE, SBC, IEEE, ANSI and IEC Standards in preparation of drawings.
• Good knowledge of Navisworks Manage and the associated use of BIM Collaboration on projects.
• Provides technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and Under level Engineers.
• Conducting Site surveys of existing projects and redesigning in compliance with latest standards and with state-of-the-art technology.
• Prepares engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
• Coordinating with other MEP & Architectural discipline engineers.

•Designing MV Panels, LV Panels, small power distribution boards including all kinds of motor starter panels and Auto transfer switch Panels.
•Design of Single Line Diagrams, Feeder and Motor Protection schematic drawings.
•Well versed in Calculation and design of Load summary, UPS Load calculations, Cable Sizing, Generator Sets Sizing, Capacitor Bank sizing, Sizing of power equipment.
•Hands-on experience in Building Management System (BMS), Chiller plant manager and integration of the systems.
•Involved in finalization of systems such as Central Battery systems, Lighting Control systems, Medium voltage switchgears, Low voltage switchgears, Transformers, Fire Alarm systems, and Control panels of starters, Access Control Systems and BMS System.
•Instructing Junior Engineers and Draftsmen’s on drawings preparation and able to check and evaluate shop drawings and resolve any discrepancy and error.
•Electrical Designing of lighting circuits, power circuits, lighting protection drawings, Fire and voice alarm single line diagrams, Bus bar routing drawings, Containment drawings.
•Discrimination and coordination study of the system right from source to the final loads.
•Inspecting Factory Approved tests for MV Switchgears, LV Switchgears, Motor control Panels, Transformers, Ring Main Units (RMU), and other systems.
•Familiar in handling electrical analysis software’s and CAD software’s such as Revit, Dialux, ETAP.
•Clearing and finalizing of drawings from vendors for individual systems.
•Coordinate with other department engineers for finalization of systems and drawings.
•Attending Techno-commercial meetings with Consultant, Contracts team and discussing about project requirements and systems in compliance with standards to maintain same pace.
•Attending meetings with managements and higher level officials for project flow.
•Understanding of each system involved in project and also resolving comments from consultant by arranging meetings with vendors.
•Contribute to client satisfaction through being responsive in a timely and effective manner for any queries from the client.

•Bill of material preparation and handling of SAP for material ordering.

•Involved in project tendering document preparation and comply with specifications.
•Familiar with DEWA (Dubai), Kharama (Qatar) and SECO (Saudi Arabia) design specifications.

•Engineering- Preparation of order specific drawings such as Data sheet, Single line diagram, Schematic diagram, Bill of Material in compliance with IEC Standards and other local authorized standards.
•Preparation of production drawings- Bill of Material, fabrication, wiring tables labels etc.
•Familiar in handling electrical analysis software’s and CAD software’s such as EPLAN, E-design, AutoCAD, ETAP.
•Participating in technical meetings with consultants & End customer to finalize specifications, avail drawing approval.
•Carrying out Heat load calculations, CT/VT Sizing and AC load and DC load calculations.
•Best use of protection relays and other desired relays depends on protection and metering function by following the cost control and quality of the project
•Preparation of production drawings - ordering BOM, fabrication drawings, wiring tables and establishing co-operation and co-ordination with Production department.
•Preparation and responsible to issue both Mechanical and Electrical BOM for ordering purpose in SAP system.
•Familiar and well versed with oil and Gas switchgear specifications.
•Accomplished for contributing cost saving alternative technical solutions.
•Carrying out design calculation such as CT/VT, bus bar calculations, component selection, carrying out short circuit study in DOCWIN.
•Maintaining Engineering documentations and knowledge in cost control of the project.
•Having hands on experience in using CAEE tool E-plan Electric P8. E-plan is used to prepare all control schematics and other drawings. Customized E-plan to generate report and standardization of engineering documents. This has improved engineering deliverable throughput time and quality of the document.
