Key Result Areas:
• Spearheading a team of 15 members including 8 Buyers, 6 Store Persons, 1 Logistic In charge and managing the end-to-end project
supply chain including supply chain planning, vendor identification of bid packages, identification, negotiation, expediting, cost control,
budgeting, purchase requisition, vendor selection, purchase order & receiving goods/services and monitoring/ expediting & follow ups
of orders to meet the target for the execution schedule of Projects as per the agreed INCO Terms & delivery schedules
• Emerging the overarching procurement cycle i.e., P2P (Procure to Pay) & global sourcing strategy with focus on transforming the
procurement function into a value creation group by working in collaboration with stakeholders, cross function partners, and strategic
supplier alliances to generate year-over-year productivity
• Negotiating with vendors to procure essential materials at reasonable price & quality and ascertaining alternate dealers for business
consolidation; assessing the performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as manufacturing capability, quality system,
rejection levels, timely delivery, credit terms and so on
• Managing receipts & dispatches of finished goods, randomly checking the consignment before dispatches and processing orders to
ensure quick & correct delivery to attain timely completion of monthly production targets.
• Maintaining Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) Process by managing and directing supply chain scorecard for the region;
monitoring performance by highlighting progress and areas to improve
• Streamlining the system & procedures for effective material control towards ensuring a ready availability of materials; implementing
systems for avoiding situations like over-stocking/out-of-stock
• Establishing supply base strategy with mix of local and import supply base to counter impact due to instable exchange rate.
• Budgeting and forecasting the funds for procurement & sourcing for ensuring optimum utilization of materials, maximum cost savings
& meeting anticipatory order finalization from planned targets
• Executing structured process for negotiation and contract management to ensure strong and local supply base
• Spearheading Materials Management and successfully developing global sourcing & procurement strategies, vendor development and
analytical assessment, to strengthen effectiveness
Accomplishments:
• Successfully managed purchase volume of SR 296 million p.a. (Avg) for Pressure Vessel and Modular Skids Division
• Contributed in initiating supply chain project procurement status updation & long-term agreement (strategic partnership) with top 10
vendors and vendors finalization for issuance of Blanket Orders for factory consumables
• Showcased excellence in initiating the vendor development & evaluation & monthly MIS reporting and managing store inventory &
quarterly inventory audits
